Hope you like it! It is over 1000 words but I am praying that you actually like it.
You are returning home from work. You know that your boyfriend Brian is with his close friend (who is a girl he has been friends with for a while) in the house so you don't exactly want to bombard them.
You walk inside the house to hear nothing but silence. Wait no...you can hear...creaks and thuds...from upstairs.
You slowly walk up the stairs after you take your coat off and hang it on the clothes peg. Besides the mysterious 'creaks and thuds' that you can hear, you don't make a single sound.
You finally make it up the stairs and realise that the noises are coming in the bedroom. You decide to take a deep breath and walk straight in there to see a sight you had hoped not to see.
The girl is on top of Brian, making out with him whilst he is passionatly kissing her back whilst he moves his hands all over her body. They are both in the bed, the bed that you and Brian share.
Brian and the girl suddenly freeze and shoot up by the sudden intake of the hallway light. They both see you. You are trying to fight back the tears but it isn't working.
Brian pushes the girl lightly away and gets out of the bed, "Y/N, I can explain..."
You shake your head, "No, you can't. I'm going." you then turn away and walk out of the bedroom, hurrying down the stairs.
"Y/N!" Brian's voice echoes as he follows you down the stairs. You quickly grab your coat and open the front door.
"Y/N, I'm sorry! It was a mistake!" Brian pleads.
"I do not care if you are sorry! I just caught you cheating on me...I thought you loved me." you say sadly.
Tears start to form under Brian's eyes, "I do."
"Well clearly you don't. I will be back tomorrow morning to get my stuff. We're over, Brian. I don't want to live, let alone be, with a cheat like you." you say before you walk out of the house.
The next day
You are back at the house, packing your things. Brian meanwhile is trying to make you forgive him but you are refusing to do so.
"Please just forgive me. I am so sorry. I love you so much..." Brian begs as you zip up your suitcase. You have been ignoring him since you got here and you intend to do so whilst you are in this house.
As Brian keeps on begging, you make your way downstairs and make your way out of the front door, not saying a word to Brian.
2 weeks later
You are looking everywhere for your CV qualifications that you need for a job interview tomorrow morning. You can't seem to find it despite the fact that you swear that you have packed it.
But you are doubting that you packed it considering the fact that you are looking through your box with all your liscenses, passports and other stuff for the millionth time. You have even looked in the wardrobe and your dvd cupboard (yes, you dump places in the most unlikely places).
Then you realise something....you forgot to pack it. It is still at Brian's place. You sigh heavily as you quickly grab your jacket from your wardrobe and start to make your way out of the house to Brian's house. You don't want to see him again, but you really need these qualifications for this job.
After about 10 minutes, you arrive at Brian's house in your car. You park up on the curb and step out calmly, but them nerves start creeping up your back.
You get to the front door and give three loud knocks. It is dark outside and very late but you don't care if you wake Brian up.
Suddenly, the door opens and your eyes slightly widen at the sight of Brian. He is shirtless, wearing sweatpants. His hair is all messy so he must have been sleeping. His eyes widen massively in shock at the sight of you even being on his doorstep.
"Um..Y/N..h-hi." Brian awkwardly greets.
"I need to get my CV qualifications. i have got a job interview tomorrow and I forgot to pack them." you plainly reply.
Brian scratches the back of his neck and moves aside, "Yeah, um come in."
You quickly walk in and rush upstairs to Brian's bedroom. You get your qualifications out of the drawer and rush back downstairs.
You are hoping to get out of there quickly, no matter how much you may still love him.
You get to the hallway when suddenly Brian stands in front of you. "Can we talk?" he asks softly.
"I really should get going. I have a TV that is waiting very impatiently for me to watch my favourite TV show on there."
Brian shakes his head, "Whatever, you are just trying to get away from me after everything I did. I said sorry, okay?"
You frown, "But it is not that simple, Brian. You of all people should know that."
"Oh my gosh, Y/N! Why can't you just forgive me? I love you, and you only."
You then completely lose your temper, "STOP SAYING THAT!!!" Then you slap him across the face. He stumbles a little but stands back upright in tears.
Tears start falling down your face too. Not just because you are upset, because you just hit the love of your life. The one that you have always loved.
I love you too... you think but snap that thought out of your head.
"I am sorry. I shouldn't have hit you. You deserve better than me anyway. Move on with someone new. I am hopeless to you, let alone anyone." you say quietly as Brian stares at you in shock. You make your way out of the front door.
But suddenly you feel a hand grab your arm and spin you round. You are instantly met by Brian's lips, who kisses you with hunger and passion.
And you obviously can't help but kiss him back, despite his mistakes.
