A few days after we returned, I was called by Mare to his place. In the room the people had a good mood except for one person, Mare.
"Thanks for coming, Ren."
Mare greeted me. He seemed sour somehow.
"You don't look good, Sensei"
I said. Mare went even gloomier.
"I wish to talk about your responsibility regarding that."
He said while pointing at his right. At the furthest seat, Nova and Mare's daughter, Eris were flirting while linking arm and feeding each other with cookies.
"What of it?"
I asked.
"Why did it turn into something like this?!"
He shouted angrily at me.
"What's wrong with that? She's an adult already. She can't be pampered by you like a child forever you know?"
I said casually.
"Kyuii!!"
I heard a happy cry of my daughter beside me. Alicia was sitting beside me while feeding her with some minced meat.
"You might not understand me now but in the future you will."
He said.
"Well, at that time probably I will do it too. But, that will still in distant future."
I said.
"But, that's not the thing you're calling me for right?"
I asked him seriously.
"Yeah, that's true. I'm here to discuss something important. It's about the outside world."
He said.
"Outside world? Did something happen?"
I inquired.
"Yesterday, I went to the grand cemetery to visit my deceased wife. But, on the way, I met with someone I rarely see, The Grand Sacred Oracle Dragon."
He said.
"Grand Sacred Oracle Dragon?"
I titled my head.
"She was a legendary dragon that almost never shown herself. Only a handful of people had met her. She was a legend even for the legendary being like Divine Dragons. And she left me with a message."
He said.
"Light has mixed with darkness, spreading the world with madness. Only true darkness can proof it all. When the seven flags rose to the sky, the proof of monarch should be shown to the populace. When the seven flags rose to the sky, the holy war shall begin. The hunts of the seven heads shall start into a new age."
He said. I frowned when I heard this passage.
"She told me to tell the holder of holy and dark powers."
He added.
"Seven flags, could it be the Seven Great Demon Lords?"
I muttered. I felt something is not good happened on the outside.
"Is something wrong, Ren-sama? You're making a scary looks over there."
Alicia asked.
"We have no time left. I must finish my training as soon as possible."
I said.
"As I thought, you know something right?"
Mare said.
"Yeah, kind of. After all, I've heard it from someone who knows well about this."
I said.
"Who?"
Mare inquired.
"It's better if you don't pry too much into it, Night-sensei."
I said.
"I see..."
He looked dejected.
"Then, what are you going to do?"
Mare asked.
"Alicia, can you contact everyone? I want to discuss something with them."
I said.
