I stared at him in shock. Never, had I thought in a million years that I would be in this position. The fate of the Werewolf population would be placed in my hands, even though I was supposed to be the Luna of the pack he was in. I glanced at Miss Collins, and I could see that she was tense. It also didn't take a genius to figure out that she didn't trust people, especially men.

"Uh-" Trent started to say as Henry started to come towards us.

I hope this works, I thought to myself, letting all the pain, anger, fear, and torture appear on my face and in my voice as I stood taller, trying to make it looked like I loomed over the 6'3 male. "Mr. Baxley," I snapped, making his head snap towards mine as well as everyone else. "Care to explain why you are causing a disturbance in my class? Take a seat, now." Power filled my voice, even though I didn't want it to. Control your wolf, I thought.

He growled a little at me, which in turn, I narrowed my eyes. "I don't care of taking a seat right now," he said standing up a little as he looked at me. He narrowed his eyes also, and I knew that he thought I might be a whore because some people knew that Anderson had it in for me.

"Would you like to be escorted out of the room by your principal and somewhere else?" I asked as I raised an eyebrow. "If not, then please, take a seat, now and do not make another disturbance in my classroom." I pointed to a seat in the back corner.

I glanced at Daniel and hoped that he could read my expression before again looking at the male. He had to understand that she might be afraid of him and that he had to take things slowly.

Henry stiffened a little, and his eyes seemed to glaze over for a bit. His shoulders slumped a little, and he looked longly at Elizabeth, wanting her to be in his arms. "Bu-" He looked at me and I could see that his eyes had changed back all the way to brown.

"Go," I ordered still pointing at the desk, a deep scowl on my face.

He nodded his head. "Yes, Ms. Wallace," he said as he grabbed his stuff and walked to the back corner of the room. He glanced around when whispers started up, and I guess he realized how close he was to saying the secret that would put his pack in danger.

I cleared my throat. "Now, is there any other nonsense that we have to take care of? No? Good." I looked at Elizabeth. "I'm sorry about that, Miss Collins," I said. "Please, take a seat wherever there is an open desk. That means-" I paused and looked at the people who had placed their book bags in the seats besides them. "-those of you who have their stuff in another spot, please take it off and let her choose."

There were a chorus of 'Yes, Ms. Wallace', and the students took their backpacks or binders out of the seats besides them. However, that didn't stop them from glaring at her, making me clear my throat. They turned to look at me.

"I thought I said that we respected each other in here. That means no judging people until we get to know them. Isn't that right... Mr. Stevens?" I looked at one of my students raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, Ms. Wallace," he said having a small lisp. He nodded his head once before leaning back in his seat.

"Thank you, Mr. Stevens." I looked at the female, who was still standing, looking around warily. "Now, please take a seat. We got a movie to watch." I looked at Trent. "Thank you for bringing her. I think I can take care of the class now. Don't you have a meeting or something."

He nodded his head and cleared his throat. "Uh... yes, of course," he said. He gave Elizabeth a warning look before going out of the room.

"Now, does anyone else have their papers?" I asked, feeling as if a weight was lifted off of my chest as he left. I guess it might be because that he was my boss, and that I was actually supposed to be in charge of him.

I guess time will tell.

***

I moved a hand through my hair as I tried to grade the papers. I couldn't concentrate on the grading. I kept trying to block the thoughts of David, but it didn't work. At the most random times I felt like I was thinking at him. Damn mate pull.

It didn't help that every so often, Miss Collins threw wads of paper at my head. I knew that it was her because no other students had done it. A few of them have seen my temper, and I guess they didn't want it directed at them.

Finally, after the seventh piece of paper threw at my head, I threw my pen on the desk and stood from my desk. "Miss Collins," I said venom lacing my words. I ignored Mr. Baxley's growl of warning "What the fudge is your problem with me?" I asked.

"Well," she said a smug look on her face, glad that she got me riled up. "I don't like teachers."

I pointed to the door. "Then please, show yourself out of this class. I do not have time to deal with pesky people trying to get on my nerves." I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. "I-I have papers to grade before this evening. I have another job to go tonight and I won't get home until maybe around 11ish-12ish depending on what he wants me to teach to people. I have to be up early in the morning to go to the hospital to do my rounds there. To top that off, I have to go down to Georgia because my sister-in-law has a-a secret that she doesn't want to tell me over the phone. Oh, and to top that, I have relationship problems which I don't want to discuss. Now, please do what I ask and pay attention to the movie." With that I sat back down in my seat and rubbed my forehead. "This is turning out to be a looong month," I muttered.

"Well, so-rry," she said, sounding a little confused. I just grunted as I tried to get back to work.

***

Finally, after what felt like three hours, the bell rang. The students filed up silently and placed their work on my desk.

"Ms. Wallace?" a student asked making me look up to see Henry Baxley looking at me. His eyes held confusion in them. He glanced around making sure of something before looking again at me. He leaned closer. "How do you know about... us?" he asked silently.

I sighed and took off my glasses as I looked at him. "Mr. Baxley, I'm supposed to be mated to a Werewolf. However, he rejected me 23 years ago when I was a skimpy 15 years old and did not looking anything like I do now. You've seen the pictures of me. Also, I was raised in a pack at age 14 since my grandfather died," I said.

He took a deep breath. "But... why? Mates are..."

I nodded my head and grunted. "I know," I said, my voice cracking a little. "But he didn't want to baby me, so... he rejected me, and I spent five years drinking away, trying to forget the pain as he... slept with other girls. I'm not going to say who it is. Those that need to know all ready do. Now, you might want to get to class."

He nodded his head and left. I could see the confusion in his eyes as I said what I said. I shook my head and tried to grade papers.

"Well, I guess you are not as bad ass as you think you are," someone sneered.

"Miss Collins, I drive a bike here and kick the ass of people bigger of me," I said not looking up at her. "So your comment is invalid, please try again."

"Have you tried kicking the ass's of Werewolves?"

"Yep," I said popping the 'p' as I looked up at her. "Your mate's father tried seducing me a few times. I guess he thinks I'm a whore, which I'm not. However, yesterday was the last straw and I slammed him against the wall, messing his oh so gorgeous hair in the process. I even surprised myself. Also yesterday, an Alpha tried seducing me as I was running. I jabbed him in the gut, stomped him on his foot and left. Oh and I was 14 when I killed my first Werewolf. He was a rogue and was about to attack a kid. I and others didn't know the kid was out there, until he screamed, but I moved through some wolves and charged at him, screeching like a banshee. The wolf changed paths and went at me, thinking I was a threat. Killed him but he got a few good scratches on me." I shrugged my shoulder. "So yes, I've kicked some Werewolf asses. And I'm not that bad of an ass, but I think I have some Hunters blood in me, but my parents wanted us to have a normal life." My face darkened a little, because I still missed them. However, I knew that I was going to see them again.

Elizabeth nodded her head as if agreeing with her wolf. "Well, I guess I can like one teacher," she said with that she waltzed out of the classroom. She slammed the door behind her, almost breaking it.

I shook my head and sighed before looking at Daniel who was sitting at his desk. "She doesn't know that I'm supposed to be her Luna." I shrugged my shoulder. "Now, why are you in here again?"

Daniel sighed a little and looked down. "My Alpha wanted me to tell you that I'mfailingallofmyclassesexceptthisoneandthatIneedtogetmygradesup. That is my punishment since I kind of sort of yelled at him." He mumbled and talked quickly, hoping that I wouldn't hear.

I raised an eyebrow. "Please speak up and talk louder. I don't teach English for the heck of it."

Daniel looked up at me, worried about something. Finally, he sighed. "My Alpha wanted me to tell you that I'm failing all of my classes except this one and that I need to get my grades up. That is my punishment since I kind of sort of yelled at him," he said again quickly. He kept a look at my face, trying guess what my reaction would be.

"Ok...," I said trying to calm my anger. I needed a clear head to deal with this situation I think. There might be a reason why.

Breathe in. Hold. 1 Mississippi. Out.

Breathe in. Hold. 2 Mississippi. Out.

Breathe in. Hold. 3 Mississippi. Out.

Wait, that didn't work. Ok, switch to plan B.

"What the hell do you mean that you are failing all of your classes except this one?!" I screeched.
