Intrépide ~ Will Byers X Reader

Y/N's POV:

We all gathered around the kitchen table once again. Hopper sighed turning to Eleven.

"It's not like it was before. It's grown. A lot. I mean, that's considering we can get in there. The place is crawling with those dogs." Hopper told El.

"Demo-dogs." Dustin corrected.

"I'm sorry, what?" (H)

"I said, uh, Demo-dogs. Like Demogorgons and dogs. You put them together, it sounds pretty badass--" (D)

"How is this important right now?" (H)

"It's not. I'm sorry." (D)

"I can do it." El spoke up.

"You're not hearing me." (H)

"I'm hearing you. I can do it." (E)

"Even if El can, there's still another problem." (MW)

"If the brain dies, the body dies." I interrupted.

"I thought that was the whole point?" Max responded.

"It is. But if we're really right about this... I mean, if El closes the gate and kills the mind flayer's army." (MW)

"Will's a part of that army." Lucas realized.

"Closing the gate will kill him." I finished. Joyce gasped and lead us all into Will's bedroom.

"He likes it cold," she said.

"What?"

"It's what Will kept saying to me. He likes it cold." she walked over and closed the window. "We keep giving it what it wants."

"If this is a virus, and Will's the host, then..." (N)

"Then we need to make the host uninhabitable," Jonathon said.

"So if he likes it cold..." (N)

"We need to burn it out of him." Joyce declared.

"We have to do it somewhere he doesn't know this time." (MW)

"Yeah, somewhere far away." (D)

Everyone had separated to do their own jobs. Joyce, Jonathon, and Nancy would take Will to Hopper's house and try to burn the mind flayer out of him. Hopper and Eleven would be leaving for the lab, where she would try to close the gate. Right before she left I ran and gave her a huge hug.

"Just be careful alright?" I said pulling away.

"You should come Y/N. One of our other sisters told me about you. She said how you were super powerful... You could help." (E)

"El I-I can't. I only just discovered that I even have powers. I don't know how to control them. I'd just endanger you and Hop." I grabbed her hand. "I'll stay back and watch Mike okay."

"Okay. I promise. I'll be careful." She told me before getting into Hopper's truck and leaving. The six of us stood on the porch watching them all drive away.

Steve and I somehow ended up in the same room together and he was looking at me very funny.

"What?" I asked.

"Who even are you again?" he wondered.

"Oh, I'm Y/N."

"And?"

"Oh um. Well, I was in the Upside Down like Will... I escaped... Then I was in the lab where they basically tortured me... Then I escaped there... Then I went to Hawkin's Middle school with my friends... You sorta know the rest already I think."
