Intrépide ~ Will Byers X Reader

Y/N's POV:

The next day we went back to Reefer Rick's house bright and early to bring Eddie a food delivery. He was again scared at first, but he calmed down way quicker than last time. 

As he shovelled honeycombs into his mouth Dustin started talking. 

"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news... How do you prefer, it?"

"Bad news first, always," Eddie answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"All right. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you." (DH)

"Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you killed Chrissy." I interrupted.

,Like, 100%, kind of convinced." Max confirmed. 

"And the good news?" He asked.

"Your name hasn't gone public yet." Robin answered. "But if we found out about you, it's a matter of time before others do too. And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you."

"Hunt the freak, right?" (EM)

"Yeah, so, before that happens, we need to find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence."

"That's all, Dustin? That's all?" (EM) 

"Yeah, no, that's pretty much it." Dustin squeaked.

"Listen, Eddie, I know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been through this kind of thing before. I mean, they have a... a few times, and... and I have once. Mine was more human-flesh-based, and theirs was more smoke-related, but bottom line is, collectively, I really feel we got this." Robin rambled.

"Yeah, see, we usually rely on these two girls who have superpowers, my sister here, Y/N, is one of them." Steve pulled me beside him, "But the other girl's powers, uh, those went bye-bye. And Y/N definitely can't take Vecna on her own, so..." 

"So we're technically in more of the--." (RB)

"Brainstorming phase." Max finished. 

"There's... nothing to worry about." Dustin said as Eddie looked straight at me.

"You have... super... powers?" 

"Well I mean..."

"Yeah! She can like mess with time and teleport and shit." Steve smiled. 

Eddie looked at me as if I had two heads so I reached my hand out pulling his box of honeycombs from him with my mind. I took out a handful and shoved it in my mouth while Eddie grinned.

"Holy shit."

I levitated a handful over to him which he happily grabbed and practically inhaled. His eyes finally lit up, like a kid on Christmas. I was happy to be able to make him happy in a moment like this, even if only for a second. When he calmed down I tossed the box back to him. 

I went to say something but we heard sirens wailing outside. We all rushed to the window to see cops and an ambulance speeding by. We said a quick goodbye to Eddie as we hopped into Steve's car, speeding after them. We then pulled up to what appeared to be a crime scene, in the middle of the crowd we could see Nancy. Steve waved over to her and she smiled.

Once she was done being questioned, Nancy hopped into her car and we met up at the trailer park where Max lives. Nancy got out of her car to see me standing there with a big smile on my face. She quickly ran over to me swallowing me in a big hug.
