"But in her current condition, I think it's best if we leave her alone for now. I don't want her to go through that again."
He stated has he glared at his members."Then why are you visiting her?" Akashi spoke with pure anger. He was angry that he wasn't allowed to go see her but Kuroko was. He was anger that someone was defying him.
"Because I'm not the one that caused her to be like this." As he walked off, away from the group, heading towards the hospital to see the (h/c) girl again.
(Y/n) silently waited for the light blue haired boy while he sat on her bed, noticing the boy was a later than usual. She frowned. She actually looked forward to his visits since no one else really visited her. Her parents were busy in the States and she had no siblings. She had no family members in Japan and well frankly she didn't have any other friends either. So it felt nice to constantly talk to someone everyday.
She smiled to herself as she looked at the vase of flowers that were still holding its vibrant color. She gently touched the petals with her fingers, feeling the soft surface of the flower.
The door slowly opened revealing a distressed Kuroko. But one his eyes met with hers, he smile softly. She smiled back and waved at him to sit down in his usually spot.
"What took you so longgggg?" The girl whined as she playfully slapped his arm.
Kuroko chuckled lightly as he laughed out a 'sorry' saying that he had to help a teacher with some errands around the school one last time. It only a day until their graduation so everyone was busy trying to get the last bits or work in.
"Hey what's school like for you Kuroko? I kinda miss it but I was informed by the teachers that I still completed my years."
"Schools....." he stopped as he thought back to the members. "It's fun... I have a lot of fun."
"Ehhhh really?" The girl stated as she crossed her arms leaning back against the wall.
"Say Kuroko I was recently accepted into a highschool for next year but I don't know if they'll have basketball there. I really want to play with you once I've fully recovered and get rid of all these stupid bandages." She said as he angrily scratched her casted arm.
Kuroko chuckled at the girls behaviors. "Me too (L/n)-san I got accepted to a highschool as well."
"Really??? Which one?? Maybe it'll be the same one as mine!" The girls eyes sparkled in delight. She hoped it was the same because at least them she would know someone in the school. She wanted to make new friends but being the type of person she is, she rarely was able to interact with others around her unless she had a friend nearby.
"Seirin. Seirin highschool."
And with that, that was all the girl needed to know as she smiled widely at the boy.
They were going to go to highschool together.
That night, (y/n) had a dream.
"(Y/n)-san are you coming to practice today?"
She turned around to see a boy and a girl talking to each other.
"On course I am ___! Come on let's go together! I'm sure the others are waiting in the gym!"
She watched as the girl grabbed the wrist of the boy, dragging him down the hall towards the large doors of the gym.
She couldn't help but notice the (h/c) hair that was so similar to hers, and that voice. It rang like a bell in her mind. It was so familiar. The boy's body was nothing more than a black silhouette but the voice recognized the voice. She watched as the 2 people disappeared into a room leaving her in an empty hallway.
She woke up in a sweat. She gasped for air as she shut her eyes tightly. Her head was throbbing. Was it possible that perhaps her dream was a lost memory?
She felt her heartbeat slowing down as he laid back down on the hospital bed calmly. She then turned her head to the vase of flowers that she had received from Kuroko. The moon has lit up the room allowing her to see the colors of the flowers so vividly.
She smiled softly as she went back to sleep.
Unaware to her, she had regained a memory.
She slowly closed her eyes and whispered.
'Thank you, Tetsuya.'
She closed her eyes letting sleep take over her body.
