It was the first day of highschool. A light blue haired male and a (h/c) girl walked through the gates of Seirin high. In front of them stood a sea of stands, each advertising different clubs, sports, activities, etc.
Over the summer (y/n) had regained a part of her memory which happened to only be Kuroko. She knew they were friends and that they played together. However, she wasn't able to remember everything since a majority of the time they spent together was on the court with the other members. So there were of course some blanks and fuzzy memories here and there. But regardless, she knew Kuroko was someone she could count on.
"Hey Tetsu do you think they'll have basketball?" The girl asked looked up at he male who was walking next to her
"I'm pretty sure they do (y/n)-san I'll sign us up both." He looked to see a stand that read 'basketball'. He was told by the doctor before she was released that it she shouldn't rush to regain her memories all at once. If she did it could be harmful to her and may lead to her forgetting more and more.
He knew how much popularity the Generation of Miracles had gained so he had a feeling that the brown haired girl that was sitting on the stand would know who they were. Well of course they would, they were the best of the best.
"(Y/n)-san wait here I'll get our forms." to which the girl just nodded as she leaned against a tree watching he light blue hair colored friend walk towards the booth.
She sighed as she closed her eyes. She wanted to know what happened. It seemed as if Kuroko was trying to hide something from her but the doctor told her the same thing that he had told him.
'(L/n)-san I think it would be best if you don't rush trying to regain your memories.'
'What do you mean?' The girl looked up as she was filling out the last bit of information for her hospital stay.
'It's not for certain but because you're suffering from Dissociative Amnesia, the memories that you lost were part of a very big and negative part of your life. If you try to rush the process of regaining your memories, it may lead to permanent loss.'
The girl widened her eyes. She wanted to know, no matter how bad the memory was. Ever since the accident she felt as if a big piece of her life had been cut out. She was missing a whole 3 years of her life and she wanted it back.
'What do you mean by permanent loss doctor?' She questioned.
'Although as of right now you were able to regain some of your memory. It may not be much but it was possible. Which means that your amnesia is curable. However, if you rush it, those memories will never be able to come back. Ever. So please, be careful. I have already informed Kuroko-san about the situation. He seems to know what happened to you before the accident so you will be in your care from now on.'
'Thank you doctor I understand.'
(Y/n) sighed, recalling that memory as she lifted her hand to brush against the scar on the top of her forehead. It was right in front of her hair line, about 2 inches long. She looked down at the right palm that had 2 crescent shape scars. The only 2 clues she really had into figuring out what exactly happened to her.
She was pulled out of her thoughts when she saw that her friend had come back from the stand. She smiled at him as he smiled back. He reached out a hand for her to take.
"(Y/n)-san lets got to class. I filled out your form for basketball. We're gonna meet up today for practice after school in the gym."
Her eyes brightened and her smile grew.
