amnesia [reader insert]

The next day the team had arrived at a pool to do some resistance training. Riko had the school schedule the school pool for the basketball club to use. The team changed before leaping into the pool sighing in delight feeling the water relax their muscles.

You sat on the side with the Seirin jacket on. You weren't able to swim cause of the wound so to make up for it you sat on the edge placing you feet in the water slowly kicking back and forth to relax your leg muscles. You were tired and the feeling of the cold water on your legs calmed you down. You looked to see the team struggling in the pool as you laughed. Then you started to panic as you say Kuroko's body floating in the water. You called for him name as Hyuga jumped in to pull him out placing the male next to you.

"Oi! Tetsuyaaa don't sleep in the pool" you said as you started to dry his hair with a towel. "You'll drown be careful."

He softly smiled to himself as he looked up at you seeing a concerned look on your face. It made him happy to see you worrying about him. But they were suddenly pulled out of their thoughts when they heard a female voice.

"Aw what a cute little dog~" you turned to see a pink haired female wearing a teal bikini crouching to pet the dog who walked away and ran towards you placing himself on your lap as you pet him.

All the boy gasped staring at the girl infront of them. She smiled and scanned the room until she say him.

"Tetsu-kun!" She said as she ran towards the boy tackling him in an embrace.

He wheezed slightly uncomfortable. "Momoi-san please I can't breathe."

'Kuroko you lucky bastard!' The other males in the pool said.

"What Kuroko you know her?" Riko asked.

"Don't you know! I'm his girlfriend!" She said as she clinged onto the male tighter. "Momoi Satsuki! Tetsu-kun's girlfriend!"

"Huh? You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend Tetsuya." You said.

Momoi released her grip as she turned her head towards the voice. There in front of her stood her former friend, sitting with her legs in the pool, a white bandage wrapped around her head and her head slightly tilted looking at Kuroko for an answer. Before he could she released her grip and started to hug the female next to him with tears welling up in her eyes.

"(Y/n)-chan! I missed you!" She said as she embraced you tightly making you both fall on the ground. You grunted as you shut your eyes closed, your back making contact with the cold wet surface on the ground.

You slowly placed a hand on her back and lifted the both of you up. You placed your hands on her shoulders and looked at her in confusion.

"I'm sorry but who are you?"

Momoi pulled away as she had forgotten about the accident. She sighed before sadly smiling at the girl who looked at her in confusion.

"I'm Momoi Satsuki! I was your former manager!" She said reaching out a hand towards you. You blinked until you took her hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you Momoi-san." You said with a blank expression.

She winced hearing her lat name come out of your mouth. She was so used to calling her Momoi that is almost hurt hearing her last name come out of your mouth. She sighed until she felt a hand on her shoulder she turned to face Kuroko.

"Don't worry give her some time, she's recovering." He said.

The girl smiled before hugging the male again in her arms.

"So.. how did you guys meet?"

"Oh! Tetsu-kun gave me a popsicle stick in junior high!" She said recalling the memory of a winning stick given to her by the male as he walked away. The rest of the team deadpanned as they heard the story.

You just looked the 2 and couldn't help by feel left out. You were pretty sure you were there when they hung out in middle school but you just couldn't remember.

'Stupid amnesia' you grumbled as you zoned out everything else while you kicked your legs in the water. You sighed until you felt a hand on your shoulder you turned to see Kuroko.

"Hey you okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay I'm just... trying to remember Momoi-san."

"Don't push yourself." He said smiling.

Momoi made her way towards the two hugging Kuroko's back.

"I really did want to go to the same school as Tetsu-kun but I knew that if I didn't keep an eye on Dai-chan he would do something stupid." She said as she whined. "I wanted to talk to (y/n)-chan as well to help her regain her memories.

You looked up at the girl and smiled. It was nice.

After practice you started to head towards a store to pick up some stationary. You wanted to write a letter to your parents so you went to buy the cutest paper you could find. Picking out your items you went to pay and headed out the store.

Staring into the sky you looked up. It was peaceful, like most days the sky was dark and the stars were shining brightly. You smiled to yourself and found yourself in the park. You looked to see 2 male figures playing basketball, one looked familiar.

You walked towards them. "Taiga?"

The said male turned to you and walked closer.

"Hey (y/n)." He said

"What are you doing here?" You asked.

"Just playing with someone." He said as he looked down at you rubbing the back of his neck. "Look I wanted to apologize for my behavior at Shutoku. I know I was being selfish and I'm sorry I pushed you."

You looked up and smiled flashing him a toothy grin.

"Hey! Don't worry about it sorry for punching you stupid lil face Taiga!" You said playfully slapping his arm as an irk mark appeared on his head. He started to squeeze your head.

"ITE ITE ITE! TAIGA STOP MY HEAD STILL HURTS BAKAGAMI!" You yelled as you pried his hand off your head as he started to laugh but it was cut off by a voice.

"(Y/n)..?"

You turned at your name to see a tan skinned blue haired male looking at you with a shocked expression. You looked back with emotionless eyes saying the familiar phrase.

"I'm sorry but do I know you?"
