Riko stood there with her mouth gaping.
'What was that? I barely saw her move? She was moving like the speed of light? And that pass? No one saw that pass?' She thought to herself as she forced her mouth o close.
'Misdirection..' she thought as she stared back at the game.
This continued to happen over and over again. the ball being passed place to place by Kuroko as the (h/c) girl used her in humane speed to make point after point after point. The last point the ball was passed to Kagami who mad a dunk and the game ended. The first years had won.
"Yeah Tetsu!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she went back to high-five the said male after the game.
They were about to leave the gym when Kuroko was called back by Riko.
"(Y/n) wait for me outside I'll be right back" He stated as he looked at the girl.
She nodded in response as she leaned against the wall waiting for her friend.
(Kuroko's POV)
I walked back into the gym to see Riko and Hyuga waiting to talk to me. I sighed thinking as to what I would say. I assumed they wanted to talk to me about (y/n).
"Kuroko thank you for staying. I was really happy with how you guys played today and I was shocked by your talent." Riko stated as she clasped her hands together.
I nodded in acknowledgment as I let her continue.
"But (y/n) I can't seem to figure out how she plays. It's incredible don't get me wrong. I am very excited for our teams progress but can you explain her form to me?" Riko asked.
I inhaled harshly, "(y/n) was the 7th member of the generation of Miracles. She was accepted by our captain Akashi who saw potential in her. As you can tell she's fast. unbelievably fast."
I smiled thinking about our past middle school memories.
"As you have already figured out I am the Phantom man of the group. No one can sense my presence and our team took advantage of that. (Y/n) on the other hand was our cheetah. She's fast and can move from one end of the court to the other in a matter of seconds." I stated as I clutched the strap of my bag tightly.
"I see!" Riko exclaimed with a sparkle in her eyes. I could tell she was happy with the glint of excitement.
"However Riko-san" I started as my grip on my bag tightened. I waited as she looked at me.
"On our last year at Teiko we had just won our last game. There were some conflicts between her and the other members." I harshly inhaled. I gritted my teeth.
"(Y/n)-san ran away from the court and was hit by a car." I finally let it out.
"She is currently suffering from Amnesia and she doesn't remember our old team. So if you could please..." I stopped as I looked at her with determination.
"If you could please help me use basketball to regain her memories...." I stated as I clutched my bag even tighter. I couldn't finish as an looked down.
I felt a reassuring hand on my shoulder as I looked up to face Hyuga senpai. He smiled, " Of course we'll help you, that's what teammates are for. " He said as I widened my eyes.
It's been awhile since the word 'teammate has implied any meaning in my life. I smiled and nodded my head thanking the 2 and walking back towards the door.
(Third Person)
Kuroko and (y/n) sat down in the same booth once again at Maji Burger sharing a small conversation. Kuroko with his vanilla milkshake while (y/n) ordered an ice cream. They both exchanged a few words about today's practice.
