The next morning you woke slowly, your head felt heavy. You were laid across Snape's bed with your head on his pillow snuggled up in the duvet, you smiled to yourself as you could subtly smell him.

You sat up sluggishly rubbing your head from the pain of the bright winters day coming through the crack in the curtains.

Where is Snape?

You sighed to yourself, although you were happy to have spent the night with Snape reality kicked in.

Guess that all wasn't a nightmare then

You swung your legs round and off of the bed. You shoved your clothes from last night back on and walked to the great hall to have breakfast, you were starving from missing dinner the previous night before.

When you entered the great hall Harry saw you and called you over. You hesitated at first as Katie was sitting with him, you hadn't gotten the chance to speak to her yet.

Harry cocked his head to one side confused as to why you weren't coming, he waved his hand to command you to come over.

Draco had returned to his manor so Pansy and Blaise were sitting alone together at the Slytherin table, they were watching you.

You walked over to Harry.

"Morning guys" You said, you then looked at Katie and smiled at her politely but Katie looked down at her plate.

"Morning, please join us" Harry said holding his hand out to the space opposite him and Katie.

You sat down and Harry passed you the fruit and pastries platter, Katie sat quietly nibbling at a hot buttered croissant. Harry looked at you both and could still sense tension.

"Bare with me a moment we've run out of juice" Harry said standing up and walking off.

You saw a jug full of fresh orange juice beside you.

"Harry it's right-" You began but Harry had walked off.

Katie looked at you.

You turned back in your seat and glanced at her, the silence between you was very uncomfortable.

"Katie I wanted to speak to you actually but have been really caught up, I'm sorry about what happened. I should have stood up for you" You said sincerely.

Katie took a small bite of her croissant, she sighed.

"He called me a mudblood Y/n and you let him like it was normal vocabulary to you" Katie said with a slight tremble in her voice.

Harry was talking to Hermione and Ron whom had just arrived together for breakfast. Harry turned and saw you and Katie, he was relieved that his plan worked to get you both talking again.

You reached across the table and grabbed Katie's hand gently.

"Katie I don't share the same opinion as him you know that. I don't care whether you're half blood, pureblood or born to muggle parents it makes no difference to me" You sighed.

Katie looked at your hand on hers.

"I promise" You added.

Katie smiled and nodded at you accepting your apology, you smiled back at Katie and poured yourself a cup of orange juice.

When Harry saw you both smiling he pulled Hermione and Ron over to join, they all sat down.

"Oh there's the juice, I didn't see" Harry said with a tut, he glanced over to you giving a quick smile. You smiled back at Harry appreciating what he did so you could talk to Katie.
