PERFIDIOUS (READER X SEVERUS SNAPE)

Snape saw you and Draco heading towards the Slytherin common room together.

"Mr Malfoy, Miss Y/ln" Snape called out sternly storming up to you both.

You both turned, Draco let go of your hand instantly but you grabbed it back on purpose for Snape to see.

"Fraternising is forbidden, Hogwarts is a school not a brothel" Snape spat staring directly at you.

"Apologies Professor" Draco said letting go of your hand once again.

You didn't reply.

Snape turned on the spot then storming to his classroom, you smirked pleased of his reaction.

Draco looked at you and rolled his eyes.

You spent the rest of the evening helping Draco study Charms, multiple times he tried to put his arm around you but you kept moving away or starting a random conversation with him as a distraction.

You looked at the time on your pocket watch noticing it was getting late.

"Think I'm going to head to bed, I'm feeling quite tired" You said with a pretend yawn.

Draco nodded with a smile closing his Charms textbook then walking you to your dormitory door. As you turned to enter your room Draco tried to kiss you but you put your hand out to stop him.

"Draco, you've already kissed me once today take it steady" You said with a smile, rolling your eyes.

Draco laughed awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck feeling embarrassed for being too keen.

"Well goodnight then Y/n" Draco said, smiling to himself as he walked off to his dormitory.

"Goodnight Draco" You replied, closing your door.

When hearing Draco's footsteps fade you leant against your door and sighed, although it made you happy taunting Snape, leading Draco on made you feel guilty.

The next day the whole of Hogwarts was filled with excitement for the Christmas feast and house parties before returning home for the break.

You entered the great hall for the Christmas feast with Draco. You sat together and put on your house colour stocking cap, Draco shook his head smiling making the bell in his hat jingle.

Snape walked into the great hall with McGonagall, you could instantly feel the tension between you. He did not give you eye contact as they passed by.

Dumbledore stood at the podium as the Professor's took their seats.

"Good Evening, before you tuck into the wonderful feast I'd like to say a few words. First of all thank you for all of the hard work you've put into this year so far and thank you to the professor's for your dedication to Hogwarts as always. Be safe, party responsible tonight and have a very Merry Christmas" Dumbledore said with a big smile, everyone clapped.

"Let the feast begin" Dumbledore added raising his hands.

Everyone began eating, the great hall roared with chatter and occasional laughter. Draco held out a Christmas cracker to pull together, as you each pulled one end tightly the cracker burst with two chocolate frogs jumping out. You both laughed trying frantically to catch the chocolate frogs as they jumped all over the table. You quickly caught the chocolate frogs, Draco looked at you smiling. He leant in to kiss you but you stood up abruptly to avoid it.
