"Nah, I can't eat yet. The doctor said that I should wait until tomorrow since I need to let my pills sink into my system." I said as I placed my hands behind my head and leaned backwards on my chair.

I deadpanned as I saw Kagami shoved bite after bite of the giant meat into his mouth. I chuckled to myself as each team member groaned in pain.

"I'm full." Kuroko stated as he wiped his mouth with a napkin.

He always was a slow eater. But thankfully Kagami 'volunteered' to finish the rest of his team member's plates.

'I still don't understand how he isn't fat.' I thought to myself as I drank from a glass of water.

Standing up from my chair I walked out of the restaurant to take a breather. Kuroko followed behind me as I turned to smile at him in which her returned.

I walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Tetsuya! I remembered Kise!" I said slightly jumping up and down in excitement.

His eyes widened and he smiled giving me a small hug.

"Thats good." he stated pulling away from the hug, "you're making progress I'm proud of you."

I chuckled as I went back to stare at the sky until I heard my name.

"(Y/n)-cchi? Kuroko-cchi?"

We both turned to face a familiar blonde who waved at us with a smile.

"Hey can we talk for a sec?"

We walked until we were at a park. I sat down on the bench rubbing my head slightly that was still covered with the bandage.

"Does it hurt still?"

I turned to see Kise sitting next to me facing the ground. He looked sad but he wasn't facing me. I guess that the guilt he had kept had welled up during the past couple of months.

I shook my head. "No, well not anymore."

He looked up at me and smiled.

"(Y/n) is slowly gaining her memories so don't worry Kise." Kuroko stated as he sat down on the other side  of me.

He turned to face me as we made eye contact placing his hands on my shoulders. I could tell that tears were starting to well up in his eyes.

He placed his forehead on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry."

I looked at him in confusion. About to speak but he stopped me.

"I'm sorry. I know you won't accept my apology right now but ever since you got into that accident I can't help but worry. I can't help but blame myself fo your accident. If I hadn't pushed you away if I had reached out to you sooner, I'd I-"

I cut him off.

"The past is the past." I stated as I looked into the sky.

"Just help me remember and I promise I'll forgive you."

He lifted his head as he stared at me. I softly smiled. He nodded as he wiped his tears away.

"Anyways Kuroko," He started "I can tell that you look up to Kagami is he your new light."

"Yes"

Kise chuckled.

"I can tell you one thing though. If you think highly of Kagami because of his Attitude towards basketball, some day you two will part ways."
