"We bought the bread..."

"Wow. Good job! Thanks." Riko said turning to her group of first years.

As Kuroko and (y/n) were about the hand over the sandwich to the seniors the shook their heads.

"It's fine you guys can eat it." Izuki stated.

"Are... Are you sure?"

"Of course don't hold back." Hyuga stated with a wide grin.

The first years took turns and passed the sandwich from one another giving the first bites to Kuroko and (y/n).

"I'm fine I'm not hungry." She stated as she laid down on the floor so that she could try to catch up on sleep. Before she knew it her stomach growled. She widened her eyes as a blush creeped in. She silently cursed to herself remembering she hadn't eaten anything the day before since she was caught up with Nijimura senpai.

She rolled on her side as her back faced her team but before she could try to get some sleep Kagami rolled her over and showed the sandwich in her mouth. Her eye widened as she shot up to sit as she looked at Kagami.

A small blushed formed on his cheeks as he looked away still holding the sandwich to her mouth.

"Eat. You haven't eaten since yesterday." He said as he turned around to eat a piece of his big sandwich.

She felt her cheeks slightly redden as she softly took a bite from the sandwich. She eyes widened slightly as sparkles form in her eyes. She softly smiled not noticing the blushing red haired male who was sitting look at her and chuckled.

At practice they were discussing the preliminary tournament racket. The group huddled together as they discussed the up coming events.

"The inter height preliminaries start as a tournament and is we lose we are out. We can not let our guard down for even a split second. The winners of each block will got to play in the Championship League. The 3 top teams will participate in the Interhigh." Hyuga declared.

"They're not chosen, they have to win it." Kagami stated.

"We have only 3 weeks until the preliminaries. If we fall one step short like last year, we won't make it but this year we definitely will. We will be facing a lot of strong schools but out biggest opponent is Shutoku high. They have one of the generation of miracles."

"The generation of Miracles' number one shooter Midorima Shintaro." Kuroko stated.

(Y/n) thought back to the green haired male that she had met with Kise.

"We have to win our first game before we play then so make sure we have the ball! Hyuga stated.

"Yeah!"

"By the way where Coach Riko?" (Y/n) asked.

"Oh she said she was going to see our opponents practice game." And the door opened to reveal Riko.

"I'm back!" She exclaimed as she made her way towards the team.

"I wouldn't be worried about Shutoku for now, out next opponent as a problem as well."

"What do you mean?' Hyuga asked.

Her handed the group her phone, who looked at the photo and silently blushed to see a picture of a cat.

"This is cute but.."

"Sorry sorry the next photo." Hyuga pushed a button to reveal the picture of a player.

"His name is Papa Myabe Siki, he's 2 meters tall and he's a foreign student from Senegal." Riko explained.

"Two meters!?!? He's FRICKIN HUGE!" (Y/n) exclaimed.

"He's studying abroad?" Izuki asked.

"He's just tall." Kagami stated.

"His name is papa what?" Hyuga asked.

"Papa Myabebe?"

"Papa.."

"Dad" (y/n) stated with a blank expression.

The others deadpanned at her as Izuki patted her back praising her for her pun.

"Hey!" Riko exclaimed. "He' not just tall, so are his arms and legs. More schools are asking for abroad students to increase their power thats why we can't back down! Don't underestimate your opponent!"

"So from now on until May 16th Kagami-kun Kuroko-kun and (l/n)-kun will have their own training regimen!" Riko stated as the (h/c) girl groaned. She was still pretty tired from her last game and her dark circles were starting to darken as she slouched on her back staring at the coach.

The past three weeks went on as the 3 continued their training, (y/n) was able to increase her stamina and regain some of her lose muscle with the help of Kagami and Kuroko.

The day before the the game, the team exited the gym after practice. Kuroko waited outside patiently waiting for the girl to finish changing. They always walked together and recently Kagami had joined as well. The 3 were on a different regimen so through the weeks they had bonded through their special time.

She walked out to see the familiar tufts of blue and red hair. She softly smiled and slightly waved at the 2 to signal that she was ready to leave. She made her way as she was in between Kagami and Kuroko. They made their way to their favorite burger joint as Kagami ordered his usual order of burgers while (y/n) and Kuroko ordered their usual dessert, an ice cream cone and a vanilla shake.

"Ne. Tetsuya I got a call awhile ago." She stated as she licked her ice cream.

"From who?" He asked as he took a sip.

"Someone named Nijimura."

He stopped as he lightly bit his straw. He had forgotten about his former coach and was a little disappointed to say at the very least.

'Why would he call her?'

"Who's that (y/n)?" Kagami asked as he bit down on his burger.

"Some guy I knew apparently. He said he was my former coach but I don't remember my memories still a bit fuzzy."

"Hmmmmm. Maybe he can help you." Kagami stated as he stared at the girl.

"yeah.. maybe he could.." Kuroko stated as he look another sip from his drink.

"Yeah I was hoping so. I asked him for help and he said yes." She stated as she looked back at the 2. "Although I was surprised to find out he didn't know about he incident. Oh well." She shrugged it off.

"Probably no one told him." Kagami stated.

"Hmmmm.. I guess but Oh! Maybe I can meet up with him some time to ask abou-" She was cut off by the blue haired male.

"You can't. He moved to America." He stated biting on his straw once again.

She sighed. "Aw that sucks I was hoping to at least get some hints." She stated as she sulked on he table placing her chin on the cold surface.

"Hey cheer up you got us now."

She looked up to see Kagami grinning down at her. A small smile creeped up on her face.

"Thanks Kaga-"

"Taiga."

"Huh?"

"Call me Taiga.." He stated as he looked away towards the window with a small tint of blush on his cheek. "You call Kuroko Tetsuya and well I call you (y/n) so... you can call me Taiga."

He eyes widened as she stared at the male. She smirked softly.

"Thank you.... Taiga."

He looked at her with wide eyes before his cheeks reddened and he went back to scarfing down his food.

Kuroko watched their interaction as a bittersweet smile formed on his face. He sighed.

'I guess I won't be the only one anymore.' He thought as he went back to sipping his vanilla shake.
