"With every bit of my heart." I pull his mask down and bring him into a kiss that leaves me feeling light headed.

"Can you two love birds hurry the hell up?" Asuma calls from ahead of us.

I reposition his mask and take his hand in mine again as we continue on our way to the bar.

We make our way through the crowded bar until we find a high top in the back.

"I'm going to get us some drinks." Kakashi mumbles into my ear. I nod as he kisses the top of my head before he walks away.

Asuma and Iruka have already jumped into a conversation with Izumo, leaving Em and I at the table.

"Little Yuhi!"

An arm slings over my shoulder and pulls me into a tight hug. It takes me a moment before I realize it's Genma. And he's drunk as fuck.

"Genma! Happy birthday!" I say, giving him a small hug back.

"Thank you, thank you. Hi Emiko. Thanks for coming!" He exclaims loudly.

Emiko laughs and waves hello to him.

He turns back to me and his eyebrows shoot up.

"Akari, You look fantastic." He slurs a little. I laugh nervously and glance at Emiko who's looking on in amusement.

He shoves a shot glass into my hand and hands one over to Em.

"Celebrate with me?" He winks.

"Uh, okay. To your birthday!" I toast.

We clink our shot glasses together and swallow the liquor. Tequila.

No wonder why he's drunk.

He leans an elbow on my shoulder and I can smell the liquor on his breath.

"So Ari, where's your boyfriend at tonight?"

"Right here." Kakashi says behind Genma.

I whip around to see him carrying two glasses for him and I. His gaze is intense as he sets the glasses down on the table, staring Genma down.

"Hey man, how are you?" Genma asks him, seemingly a bit nervous.

"Great. Happy birthday by the way. I see you and Ari have already started celebrating." He glances over at me and gives me a chilling look.

I put the shot glass down on the table and walk over to wrap my arms around Kakashi, settling him.

"Take some shots with us. Loosen up a little." Genma says to my boyfriend who's body feels as stiff as a statue.

I rub my hand on his back and look up at him.

I've never seen him jealous like this before and I can't tell if it's making me nervous, turning me on, or a bit of both.

"Let's have our drinks and then do some shots?" I ask in a gentle voice.

"Atta girl. I'll go get some." Genma says excitedly before turning around and disappearing into a group of people.
