Kakashi's POV:

I reach out towards the nightstand to stop the incessant buzzing against the wood.

Opening one eye, I squint at my phone screen, seeing Shizune's name appear.

I look at the alarm clock that reads 7:45 in the morning. It's too early for this shit.

I glance over at Akari who's still sound asleep and sit upright in bed slowly without disturbing her.

I clear my throat to attempt to hide the sleepiness and hit accept.

"Hello?"

"Good morning Kakashi. I hope I didn't wake you. Lady Tsunade needs to see you right away."

Another mission. I rub my eyes with my fingers to try to wake myself up.

"I can be there in 25." I respond groggily.

"Thank you."

She hangs up the phone and I place mine back down on the nightstand as I do my best to get out of bed without waking up Ari.

I stand to my feet and stretch my arms up high, glancing back at my sleeping girlfriend.

She looks so sweet cuddled up with her pillow, lips parted and hair utterly disheveled.

I grab my phone and take a quick picture of her knowing she would kill me if she saw it.

I fight the urge to crawl back under the blankets and cuddle up to her for several more hours.

Maybe if this is a quick meeting, I can make it back before she wakes up and spend the rest of the morning in bed with her.

I rush to get ready so I can get this meeting over with.

I walk over to the bed and give her a gentle kiss on the cheek before I go. She stirs for a moment but falls back into the steady rhythm of her breathing.

Hopefully I'm not gone too long on whatever mission Tsunade assigns me.

I can't stand to be away from Akari.

I walk towards the living room, not bothering to pick up any of the clothes we tore off of each other the night before.

I smirk down at her ripped silk dress as I step over it.

Although it was worth it in that moment, I'll have to buy her a new one.

I walk through the administration building, still feeling a little sleepy.

I drag my feet along the wood floors as I see Shizune walking towards me.

She offers me a tiny smile and motions for me to follow her towards Lady Tsunade's office.

"Sorry for the early morning call. They're here waiting for you already."

She motions me in through the door. I nod my head in thanks to her as I round the corner and enter the office.

I look at the three sets of eyes that stare back at me, feeling my stomach drop.

"Good morning Kakashi." Lady Tsunade motions me inside as I close the door behind me.
