Dib x Fem Reader (My Paranormal Partner)

Turns out we have the classes. We also share the same class with an "alien". But that's beside the point. Dib and I became best friends after that. We hung out every day and sometimes he stays the night with me and I stay with him. But as some if not most friendships go, one gets a crush on the other and is afraid to be let down. I this case, me.

Dib and I have been friends for a year and a half now and I've had a crush on him since day one. I just don't want to tell him because it could ruin our friendship.

Today, after school I meet Dib so I can stay with him for the weekend. My parents are out of town and I don't want to be lonely so I talked with them and they gave me the approval. I heard the bell ring and I jumped out of my seat and ran to my locker and threw my books in there and grabbed my bag and headed home to grab my stuff for the weekend.

Once all my stuff was packed I called Dib.
"Hello?" He answered. I always blush over his voice. "Hey, I'm headed that way!" I replied. "Okay! Do you need any help?" He asked. "No I've got it. It's only two bags. Thank you though!" I cheerfully replied. I was already walking when I called him. We live a few blacks away from each other but it was still walking distance. I was still another block from Dibs house when... "GIR! GET BACK HERE!" Well crap. A little green dog ran past me and stopped. "Hello pretty lady!" The dog, assuming GIR, said. I wasn't surprised that it talked because Zim was chasing it.

"Oh, Hello!" I replied smiling. Zim ran up behind me. "GIR! What is the meaning of this?!" Zim yelled at GIR. "I just wanted to see the pretty lady." GIR said sadly and hugged my leg. "Pretty La-" Zim turned his head towards me. "Oh. Y/N human. The girl who sticks white with the Dib-Stink." Zim crossed his arms. "Hello to you too Zim." I said sarcastically "Now can I please get back to what I was doing? These bags are getting heavy." GIR let go of my leg. "GoodByE pReTtY lADy!" He said waving. I started walking and waved back.

'What was that about.?' I thought.
I have now arrived at Dibs house. I knocked on the door and his sister Gaz opened the door. "Oh hey." She said, not talking her eyes off of her game slave. "Is Dib here?" I asked. "Yeah, he's upstairs in his room." She replied walking away from the door allowing me to sleep in. "Thank you." I said smiling and walked upstairs to Dibs room. I knocked on the door and almost immediately Dib opened his door.

"Y/N!" He hugged me. "Hi Dib" I said laughing and hugged him back. "Let me help you with that." Dib took my bags and put them in the corner of his room. I look at his room confused. "You don't have a place already set up for me to sleep in?" I giggled. His face went a light shade of red. "Well, I was thinking you could sleep in my bed... you know because when we set up a place in the floor it gets in the way and you wind up climbing where I sleep. Weather you took the floor or the bed." He said nervously. It is true though. I like sleeping with him. And no not like that, perverts.

Time skip because idk what to write about until dark uwu

It was now 10:00 at night so Dib and I decided to go ahead and get dressed for bed. He let me go in the bathroom first. Once we went back to his room we started talking about the paranormal and all that. After I told him about when I died, he took it personal when I said 'don't tell anyone' I really appreciate it. He doesn't really ask much of it because he knows I don't like talking about it but every now and then me or him will bring it up.

"Wow, look at the time" I said laughing. "It's already three in the morning." We both get carried away with talking to each other.

He climbed onto his bed and patted next to him signaling to set with him. So I did. "Y/N, there's something I want to ask you..." Dib said hesitantly. "Yes?" "This may not be the time but... I- um..."Dib was so red at this point. He never stutters so it has to be something. "Hey, whatever it is, I'll answer. You and me, we're best friends. We talk about everything! Well, almost everything. But you get the point." I said putting my hand on his shoulder smiling. "Well, Y/N.. I-" he looked down at the floor then turned to me. "I like you." He said it. He FREAKIN SAID IT! I blushed so much when he said that. "I like you to Dib." I said softly. "No, I mean that I .. I love you." Dib said. "I have for a very long time, i just didn't know when to tell you and-" I cut Dib off by kissing him.

Dib immediately kissed back. He lightly placed his hands on my cheeks to deepen the kiss. Our kiss lasted a good while before we separated to breathe. "I love you to Dib." I had my had my hands in his cheeks. We both hugged each other and fell back onto his bed. We fell asleep like that. Me cuddled into his chest while he's holding me running his fingers through my my H/L  H/C hair. Perfect end to this day.

So that's it for my first one shot. Sorry it was so long but I had a lot I want to write but didn't because it was already so long. Anyways I hope you guys liked this one shot. When I write others I will try to make them a good length but not this long, I hope you guys have a great day/night :)
