Kakashi places a hand on my lower back, rubbing his palm up and down.

"Try not to stress too much about it my love. It's not healthy. I'll go with you and wait right outside."

I lean against him as we walk.

Somehow that makes me feel much better, even knowing that I'm about to have my ass handed to me.

I stare at my boyfriend pacing anxiously in the doctors office as we wait for Sakura to come in.

"She's taking too long." He complains.

"Baby. Can you sit down please? You're making me nervous."

He stops walking and turns to face me with a guilty look on his face.

"I'm sorry." He sits down on the waiting chair next to the examination table that I'm on.

"I just want to know that she's healthy and safe and a she."

He leans his elbows onto his knees and puts his chin in his hands like an impatient child, making me giggle.

"Our child better not have your patience."

Before he can defend himself, the door opens and Sakura walks in smiling at the both of us.

"Sakura, I've never been more happy to see you. Please for the love of my sanity tell us what this baby is so he can relax."

She laughs to herself, sitting down on the stool as I lay back.

"Kakashi Sensei I vividly remember you teaching us how to be patient when we were your students."

He blushes slightly as he slumps down in the chair.

"Yeah, yeah. Just, do the belly thing, will ya?"

Sakura rolls her eyes as she turns towards me and lifts my tshirt up over my stomach.

"Awe, you have a tiny bump! That's so exciting."

My hand rests over my tummy for a moment.

"It's is. Except I couldn't fit into my jeans this morning."

She giggles as she turns the machines on and gets out the tube of jelly.

"Yeah, that's only gonna get worse."

"You entered your second trimester two days ago. Which is so great. You guys can relax a little."

I hear Kakashi let out a small breath as if he had been waiting to hear her say that.

She spreads the cold jelly over my stomach, sending chills up my arms.

"How's your eating?" She asks as she grabs the wand and brings it to my skin.

"Good-" I'm cut off by Kakashi before I can finish my sentence.

"Terrible. She can't keep a thing down. Unless it's something strange like pickles, cheese or peanut butter."

My cheeks heat up as he rats me out to Sakura.
