The rest of the day flew by, Francis made me a card, me and Rachel spent the whole day together and now it was time for dinner.

As we sat down and started eating, I looked to the table where the adults were sitting, I saw that Mrs. Cole was staring right at me. I haven't seen her in a while to be honest, but it's probably for the best. I thought. I was having peaceful evening until Mrs. Cole came up to the table I was sitting at and.

''What have you two girls have been up to?'' She asked with a disgust in her face, ''Nothing?'' Me and Rachel said at the same time. ''Fine, don't tell me, I'll find out anyway.'' She responded with her head held high. ''Mrs. Cole?'' I asked a little bit weirded out, with my eyebrow lifted. ''What?'' She said as she turned to me. I looked in her eyes and asked, ''Are you drunk?'', then Mrs. Cole put a hand on her heart and put a shocked expression on her face. Then she just huffed and left. ''What a personality.'' i whispered as watched her leave the table i was sitting at. ''I know, right?'' Rachel whispered back as the she did the same as I.

When we got to our room, the window was fully open and there was a blue envelope on the pillow in my bed. Rachel stepped in to the room and closed the window, as i just stood in the doorway and stared at the envelope in my bed.

''Can I look at it?'' Rachel's voice broke me out of my thoughts. ''What?'' I asked as I turned to her. ''The letter, can I look at it?'' she asked again. ''Of course.'' I said still not moving out of my place. She softly lifted it up closer to her face so she could read what it said, after a moment, she lowered the envelope and looked at me, ''Can I open it and read it out loud?'' she asked in a hushed tone. ''Sure'' I said as I got in the room and closed the door behind me. ''Who is it from?'' I asked in a quiet voice.

'' Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.'' She said in one breath. ''What?'' I asked as I sat on my bed, and she gave me the letter. And there it was, ''What does this mean?'' I whispered to myself. ''I'm pretty sure that, that means you're a witch too.'' Rachel said in a normal voice shrugging.

''Wait that means that we won't go to the same school.'' I said looking at her. ''Dang.'' Was all she said.

''Should I open it?'' I asked still looking at the beautifully made envelope. ''If you won't, I will.'' Rachel said confidently.

I opened the envelope and took out all the containing papers, and displayed them all on my pillow. I took the first paper, opened it and with beautiful curvy blue shiny letters it read:

''Dear Ms. Y/L/N, we are pleased to inform you, of your acceptance to Beauxbatons academy of magic.

Here at Beauxbatons, not only we improve our magical abilities, but we also learn all about elegance and self-presentation.

We will help you find all the equipment, that is needed for the next term in our school.

This envelope also contains a list of all the things you will need this year and a ticket for the carriage, that will transport you to the school grounds. The school year will start on September 2nd, but you Ms. Y/L/N will stay with an old witch who is more than delighted to have you in her home, her name is Carmille Breguet and she will teach you everything you have to know as a witch. She will adopt you in three days. So, you have to pack all the things you want with you when you move to France with Madame Breguet.

''Wow...'' said Rachel ''Umm, I don't know what to say.'' I said slowly, as I looked at Rachel. ''Does this mean that we will never see each other again?'' She asked as she slumped down next to me, on the bed. ''Oh, My, God. I didn't even think of that.'' I said a I realized, how weird this situation is. ''Well, I'm sure we'll get though it.'' She spoke after a second of silence. ''Will you keep an eye out for my brother?'' I asked looking at her. ''Mmm, what do you mean?'' She asked looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

''I mean, you know, just make sure he stays out of trouble, and if somebody bully's him, just protect him.'' I spoke. ''Of course.'' She replied, while nodding.

''But now we have to go to bed, because we have a lot of packing to do.'' She said while getting up from my bed and getting her pajamas, her toothbrush and hair brush, when I realized what she's doing, I started doing the same. ''Are you ready to go?'' she asked. I could hear it in her voice, she was tired, ''Yeah, sure. Let's go.'' I said as she opened the door. As Rachel closed the room door behind her, the electricity turned off, and everything turned black for a split second, and then everything went back to normal. ''That's a little weird.'' Me and Rachel said in unison, we looked at each other, started laughing and Rachel said, ''We have to stop doing that.'' ''Yeah, we totally should.'' I said a little bit out of breath.

''But seriously, that like never happens.'' Rachel said looking at the sealing, as if trying to find something. ''Maybe something went wrong with the connection, I'm sure everything is completely fine.'' I said in a peaceful voice. ''Yeah, you're probably right.'' She spoke. ''Wait, probably?'' I asked a little offended. She just shrugged. ''I'm right, I promise.'' I said it as a fact.

''Can we go and get ready for bed? I'm so tired.'' Rachel said as she rubbed her eyes and yawned. ''Yeah, sure.'' I said as we walked to the girl's bathroom. ''Okay, so you brush your teeth as I take a shower, and then we switch, okay?'' I asked. Rachel just nodded.

After we were done in the girl's bathroom, we went to our rooms and went to bed as fast as we could.
