Never again (Tom Riddle x reader)

Y/N's pov (now at the age of 16)*:

I peeled my open as I heard a rapid tapping sound of something hitting my room's window, I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I was about to get out of bed, the door busted open and in came, Madam with a cup of tea, ''Good morning darling, you have to get dressed and get ready for your sixth year.'' She said as she opened the window and an owl flied in and landed on my nightstand, it dropped and envelope and flew out the window. ''But the summer just started.'' I whined as I plopped back in to the bed. ''I know you want to rest, but there is no time to waste.'' She said as she took a sip of her tea and pushed me out of the bed. My body hit the wooden floor and I groaned, ''Was that necessary?'' I asked as I tried to get up, ''You were about to fall asleep, of course it was necessary, now get dressed and I'll write a letter to Hogwarts about your placement in to the school.'' She said as she waved the letter from Hogwarts that was on the nightstand and closed the door as she left the room, ''Alrighty.'' I said to myself as I went up to my closet and took out a white bouse, a navy wool skirt and black loafers, I got dressed and went to the kitchen, ''I just sent out the letter, I went to a bakery before you woke up and I got some croissants for you and the teapot is on the stove.'' Madam said as she sat down at the kitchen table.

''Thank you.'' I said as I took a croissant out of a paper bag and pored some tea in to a cup, ''I got something for you.'' Madam said as she ran to her room to grab something.

I sat down at the kitchen table and started eating my breakfast. ''There.'' Madam said as she put a box on the table right next to my plate. I examined it, it was a grey, long, flat-ish box, with a black ribbon wrapped around it. ''I saw it in a shop window and I knew it would look ravishing on you.'' She said happily, as she sat down on the chair right in front of me and took a sip of her tea, ''You shouldn't have.'' I said smiling, as I took the box in my hands, she giggled, ''Just open it.'' She said as she pored more tea in her cup. I took off the ribbon and neatly put it to the side. I opened the box. In the box, there was a beautiful silk scarf, I took it out of the box and examined it, ''It's beautiful.'' I said amazed by the scarf, ''It will look beautiful on you.'' She said smiling. ''Thank you.'' I said as I went up to her and hugged her. ''You're welcome sweety.'' She said as she hugged me back smiling. We pulled away, ''Do you want to visit your brother?'' Madam asked as she squeezed my shoulders. I nodded smiling, ''It will be raining in London, so don't forget your rain coat.'' She said as she fixed her robe. ''I can't come with you, I've made other plans for myself.'' She said blushing, ''Yeah? What kind of plans?'' I asked wit ha lifted eyebrow, as I took a sip of the tea. ''Mr. Lavigne invited me for a cup of tea in his café.'' She said shyly, I started giggling, ''So a date.'' I said as I bit my croissant, ''No, it's a friendly meeting.'' She said as she went to her room, I followed her, and stood in the door frame with a croissant on one hand and a teacup in the other, ''Is the friendly meeting the reason you have all of your best dresses laid on your bed?'' I asked as I ate the croissant, she looked at me like she was about to strangle me to death, ''I just want to look good.'' She said as she looked at all of the dresses on the bed. ''And impress him.'' I said smiling, she looked at me and closed her eyes. ''Maybe a little.'' She said smiling. ''Alright, I'll let you be.'' I said as I went back to the kitchen.

Once I finished eating, I washed the dishes and went to my room, I saw a letter on my pillow, I looked at it. It's from Rachel, I carefully opened it and read it, ''I received a letter from Rachel.'' I said as I went in Madam's room, ''What did she write?'' she asked as she put some lipstick. ''She said that she is excited that I'll go to Hogwarts, that Francis misses me dearly and that Riddle has gotten weirder ever since the last time she wrote to me about him, in third year.'' I said as I sat down in the edge of the bed. ''Riddle is the boy, who was looking at you through the window when you left the orphanage?'' she asked as she looked at me through the mirror. ''Yes.'' I said shortly. ''hmm.'' She said and fixed her hair. ''Something about the boy is off putting, you, stay away from him.'' She said as she turned to face me. ''Okay.'' I said shrugging.

''Well, I'll be leaving now! I'll lock the door and take the keys with me, I don't know when I'll be back, so if you are here before me, you have to go to the market and buy some food, I'll leave the money on the kitchen table, alright?'' Madam yelled through the apartment, ''Have fun at your date, I'll take care of everything!'' I yelled from my room. ''Have fun with you brother, sweety.'' She said and closed the door behind her.

''There.'' I said to myself as I put the rain coat on, I stepped in to my room to get my purse, I took my black leather purse, as I was about to leave the room, I saw the silk scarf laying on my bed, I took it and wrapped it around my head. I stepped away from the mirror as soon as I was satisfied with my appearance.

I thew the flow powder in to the fire place and evaporated to the Diagon ally, I quickly made my way to the central train statin and called for a taxi.

As the taxi started driving me to the orphanage, it started poring rain, one it stopped in front the big metal gates, I paid the driver, he smiled at me and I got out of the car, I turned to face the gate and heavily exhaled, the gate opened and I walked inside. ''Nothing has changed.'' I whispered as I looked around.

I finally made it to the main door, ''Oh, God.'' I thought and knocked on the door. An old looking Mrs. Cole opened the door, ''Can I help you?'' she asked rudely, ''I'm here for visitation.'' I said as looked at her, ''Who?'' she asked in rough tone, ''Francis Y/L/N.'' I said, ''Oh, you're his sister, aren't you?'' she asked as she rolled her eyes and let me in to the building. ''Yes.'' I said as I looked around, the air was still thick just like it was when I first got here, ''Alright, your brother is on second floor to the left.'' She said and walked away.

I started walking up the stairs.

I finished walking up the stairs and tightly held the staircase as my vision started blacking out, I tightly closed my eyes and slowly exhaled the air out of my lungs. ''Umm, miss, you're in my way.'' Said an irritated deep voice behind me, ''Oh, excuse me, I'll-'' I stopped talking as I faced the man, ''Oh.'' I said rolling my eyes.  It was Tom.
