Never again (Tom Riddle x reader)

Recap: After we were done in the girl's bathroom, we went to our rooms and went to bed as fast as we could.

The next two days flew by in speed. With having to tell my brother that I won't be with him for some time, packing, having crying sessions with Rachel, stressing about the woman that I'll have to live with, I actually received a letter from her, saying that she is very excited and can't wait to meet me. I reread the letter a few times, and what she wrote sounded genuine and honest, which I very much appreciated. I also received some weird looks from my 'favorite' person in the whole world: Tom Riddle. What did I do to him? But it doesn't matter right now. What matters is that tomorrow will be the day Madame Breguet will adopt me and let me live with her in France. All of the events that are happening in the past are very weird, like: I go to an orphanage, and reconnect with my best friend, then she finds out that she's a witch, then I find out that I'm a witch, also Tom Riddle is a wizard, I'm going to France tomorrow with a person that I have never met before, and I love all of that for me. But I'm sure that I'll be fine, I just have to stop freaking out, calm down and continue living my life even though my life feels crazy and eventful, I'm sure that it all will get calmer and more peaceful once I get to France and settle in the new environment. I thought internally shrugging. Right now, I'm folding the clothes that I'll wear tomorrow when Madame Breguet will come here and I will meet her for the first time. Well good thing I know French, I think that Beauxbatons is the same school my mum was learning, when she was young.

''Are you ready for dinner?'' Rachel asked as she closed the book, she was reading the whole time. ''Yeah, sure.'' I said as I finished folding the clothes. ''Alright, let's go.'' She said as she got up from her bed. I went out of our room last so I closed the door behind me, ''So how are you feeling about the whole situation?'' Rachel asked as we went down the stair case. ''Um, I don't think I has really hit me yet, like I know that I'm moving and stuff, but everything is going so fast, I just feel like I have to take a little break, you know?'' I said as I furrowed my eyebrows. ''Yeah, but I'll always support you and your choices.'' She said to me as she put her arm around my shoulder as we stepped in to the canteen, ''I'm a little worried about Francis.'' I said as a sad sigh escaped my lips, ''Don't worry, if something will happen, I will be here and I'll take care of it.'' She said with a reassuring smile as we sat down and started eating, ''I got something for you.'' She said after a while. ''What did you get me?'' I asked, now I was curious. ''I can't tell you, it's a secret.'' She said smirking. ''Jesus, I feel like I'll die of curiosity.'' I said as I stabbed the food on my plate. ''It can't be that bad.'' She said rolling her eyes. ''Well, it is.'' I said dramatically. ''Alright, I will give it to you when we'll get back to our room.'' She said as she restarted eating, after a while I noticed that Riddle is looking, more like staring at me. ''Okay, I feel like Riddle wants to kill me.'' I said to Rachel, as I stopped eating. ''Why?'' she asked confused. ''He's just staring at me, like openly, everybody can see him doing it.'' I said pointing out the obvious. She looked at him, ''He's just weird.'' She replied shrugging, ''You're right.'' I said as I restarted eating,

Once we finished eating, me and Rachel got out of the canteen, and went to our room. ''When you start going to Hogwarts, you'll have to watch out for Riddle, I think he's capable of doing something dangerous.'' I said as we reached out room. ''I figured that out myself.'' She said giggling, I opened the door and got in. ''So, what do you want to give me?'' I asked curiously. ''Did you know that the curiosity killed the cat?'' she asked calmly, ''But satisfaction brought it back.'' I finished. ''Tck, fine you win this one.'' She said rolling her eyes. ''Okay, I got you this.'' She said handing me a book. ''It's Jane Eyre, I hope you like it.'' She said quietly, ''Are you kidding me? Old classics are my favorite.'' I said as I jumped and hugged her. ''I know, once you read 'Pride and Prejudice' you wouldn't shut up about it, so I thought you'd enjoy this as well.'' She said smiling. ''You are the best, best friend I have ever had.'' I said smiling. ''What do you want to do right now?'' She asked as we hugged each other. ''We could just hang out, and after we'll go and get ready for bed.'' I said as I scrolled though the book, ''Yeah, sure sounds like a plan.'' She said, opening the book she was reading earlier.

''Alright, it's 10PM, do you want to get ready for bed?'' I asked after a while as I sharply closed the book I was reading. ''Yeah, sure.'' She said getting up from her bed. ''Okay, let's go.'' I said as I opened the door. ''Do you think it's weird that we are not friends with literally anybody else?'' Rachel asked me as we went to the girl's bathroom, ''Yeah, it's a little weird, but I think that all the girls here probably think we are weird.'' I said furrowing my eyebrows, ''Yeah, probably.'' She said shrugging as she opened the bathroom's door. There were a few girls talking by the mirrors, but as soon as they saw us, they rolled their eyes, took all their things and got out of the room, ''Or girls are just mean.'' She said as she looked at me, ''Oh, yeah, without a doubt.'' I said nodding my head as I looked at the direction where the group of girls went. ''Want to get ready for bed?'' I asked looking at her. ''Yeah sure, let's go.'' She said as she went though the door.

Once we were done, we went back to our room. ''Okay, do you want to read and then go to sleep or just go to sleep?'' Rachel asked me. ''What do you want to do?'' I asked as I tried to get comfortable in my bed, ''I want to read a little.'' She said, ''Okay, I'll just go to bed I'm really tired.'' I said yawning, ''Isn't the light too bright?'' she asked, ''No, it's okay, just turn it off when you go to sleep'' I said as I rolled myself in to the blanket like a burrito. ''Okay, goodnight.'' She said as she opened her book, ''Goodnight.'' I said, as I got sleepier.
