"So, we backtracked again to presumably Medusa," Princess said brushing off any insult to her mother in favor of figuring out the ever-changing timeline. 

"I am going to excuse this blatant show of disrespect this time, Persious Jackson only because this was never meant to be said in my presence. Do not let something of this sort leave your mouth after this excursion I warn you."

"Noted."

The eyebrow raises and mix of horrified or almost laughing faces in response was almost enough to make someone actually laugh, but we all restrained. Hopefully, we'll only have to make one shroud that way.

"No, no, no. We are not starting this again. Let it die," Artemis pleaded.

Athena appeared to agree yet still said, "I had a perfectly reasonable reaction in the face of utter betrayal and in a crude display of disrespect at that."

"Well, you didn't have to take it out on her or her sisters," Posiedon immediately responded.

Grover spoke up then redirecting both the agitated gods's attention to himself which immediately made the half-goat sink into himself, "So, if this is a usual topic of discussion why is it that returning the girls to normal hasn't. Like, monsters respawn. It's not like they're going to be left out of the culture. They could live out the rest of their mortal lives and die and it would all be over."

"Because," Athena started with heavy consonants, "That prestes swore an oath of loyalty to me and then proceeded to break it. I do not take oaths lightly. I believe that an oath should have the most impact of any promise. It should be thought of long and hard before deciding to take one because it should dictate the rest of your mortal life. If one doesn't follow that, then I don't believe they have a say in how their life is used to make an exemplar of those who disrespect my safety I offered and the oath they broke." 

"In short, we've tried. Moving on." Hermes tried to redirect.

Selina added, "Think about it this way. If they haven't figured it out in almost four thousand years now then we aren't gonna do it in the twenty we have to live if we're lucky. So it's not worth the effort."
