(A/N: sorry y'all I've had school, sprained ankles, and theater but I'm back. Hope you like it :p)

Being a technician on Starkiller wasn't the worst or best job you'd ever had, so you didn't really mind it. You liked being able to come up with different designs for systems; for you it was therapeutic and a great way to calm down. That was until the new guy started.

Matt.

Matt was a special character. The man was the definition of anti-social, and for some reason he just clamped onto you. When he first started everyone made fun of him, even the stormtroopers. You were the only nice person to him, which you assumed was why he attached himself to you. Matt followed you everywhere. He followed you to the cantina, the cafeteria, the medical wing, and even the bathroom(where he'd sit outside the door). And the only thing Matt talked about was Kylo Ren, every second of every day. You knew more about the Commander than his own generals did.

You weren't complaining though. Matt was a change of pace for you. All everyone ever talked about was how terrifying Ren was, and how they despised the man. Therefore, you enjoyed hearing Matt's perspective. Not to mention his company was way better than the constant snotty technicians.

"(Y/N)."

"Yes, Matt?" You had been trying to finish recircuiting a control panel when Matt came over to you.

"Are you doing anything tonight after work?"

"Probably not, why?"

"I just heard that Kylo Ren wants to meet you." Matt's words caught you by surprise. Why would Kylo Ren want to meet you? No offense to yourself, but you were just a measly technician on a ship FULL of others. There was nothing special about you, other than you hung around Matt.

"Do you know why?" You turned your full attention over to Matt; twisting your body in the process. Your eyes met with Matt's and you could see the confusion written in them.

"No, I just happened to run into him in the bathroom." You let out a giggle at his non-chalantness. Who runs into Kylo Ren in the bathroom and is completely calm afterwards?

"Alright then. Is there any place I should meet him?"

"His quarters."

"Isn't that a little too personal for this kind of meeting? Are you sure he wouldn't--"

"He said his quarters at nine." And with those words, Matt was off to wherever he had come from. You shrugged your shoulders, allowing the situation to flow right off them, and went back to work.

Once your shift had ended, you went to your room to get ready to meet Ren. As you were looking at the clothes in your closet, you wondered what you even wore to go meet someone as infamous as him. Should you wear something fancy, cute, or something you wouldn't mind someone finding you dead in. As if a miracle had just blessed you in the twenty minutes you'd spent looking in your closet, you found the perfect outfit. A red lace top, with red silky pants, and a silky red sweater. Somehow all in the same shade of red. And you somehow don't remember ever buying this.

As you walked down the halls trying to find your way to Ren's quarters, all eyes were on you. Stormtroopers, generals, lieutenants, and technicians couldn't seem to get enough of you. The attention gave you a bit of a confidence boost; it had been a long time since people had looked at you like that. And you fucking loved it.

You eventually found Ren's quarters, after about an hour of searching. Luckily you left early. As soon as you stepped in front of the door, it opened on its own. You were taken aback slightly, but then you remembered what Matt had taught you about the force.

"Hello?" You asked as you walked into the room. Everything was black, which didn't surprise you. What did surprise you was the black table with red roses in the middle. The sight caused you to giggle a little; you couldn't imagine Ren actually setting this up. Not only because he was a literal murderer, but because you were someone of little importance.

"I see you like the table." His voice caught you off guard. You turned to look at the mass of black, that blended perfectly with the room.

"I do, but I don't understand why you're doing this for me."

"Must you go straight to the point?"

"I hate diverging from it." Ren walked closer to you, so that your face was looking straight into his chest.

"I brought you here to discuss something important with you."

"And that is?" He moved and walked around you. Your eyes followed his movements the entire time.

"Matt, the radar technician."

"What about him?" His back was to you at this point.

"He isn't who he says he is." He whispered but you were able to pick up on it.

"Well then, who is he?" You heard the hiss and watched as he took his mask off. At first you were greeted with a head full of luscious black curls. Then he turned around.

"Y-y-you're Matt? I-I don't understand."

"There were rumors of a rat among us. Since only a few have seen my face, I was the one who went undercover."

"So all my conversations with Matt, have all really just been lies? All the facts he told me about himself, have you just been making them up?"

"Of course not. I was telling you facts about myself. I tried not to at first, but there was something about you that I couldn't resist." He slowly walked over to you, and moved a piece of hair behind your ear.

"Who could resist you?" With those words, Ren grabbed your face in his hands and placed your lips onto his. As soon as your lips interlocked you felt a spark go off inside of you, Ren felt it too.

Once you two separated, you felt your heart racing. You had never felt like this before,

the whole experience was new to you.

"I brought you here to offer you a new life. Here at the top with me. What do you say?" He held his hand out to you. You wasted no time in grabbing it.
