WHEN SAM AWOKE THAT MORNING, she saw herself and taylor both naked on the bed and grinned, remembering the events of the night. she looked at her sleeping girlfriend and took in her features- even asleep she managed to look stunning. before it became weird, the actress grabbed her phone from the bedside table and looked at the time. seeing that it was about half seven, she decided to let taylor sleep in whilst she got ready for the day.

once she was showered and dressed, she reentered the room to see taylor awake and scrolling on her phone.
"mornin'." sam smiled, placing a kiss on the singers cheek.
"good morning. i'm gonna shower and then have some breakfast. mum should be in the kitchen so you can go in without me if you want." taylor murmured, getting up and moving to the en-suite.
"okay. i'll be there." the brunette said, walking into the kitchen.

like taylor said, andrea was already in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee.
"good morning sam. coffee's still hot if you want some." the woman smiled, watching the brunette shuffle in.
"thanks." the gray muttered, quickly making a cups for herself and taylor.

they proceeded to sit in silence for a moment before the older woman spoke up.
"you two are good together. it's the happiest i've seen her in a while." andrea said with a smile.
"yeah. she makes me that happiest i've been in a while too. i think it's a good thing." sam grinned. andrea looked at the actress and knew, deep down that she and taylor were made for each other.

then, taylor strolled in and placed herself next to her mother.
"good morning." she murmured, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. the gray approached her girlfriend and handed her a coffee whilst kissing her cheek.

"i was thinking that we could go for a walk today. you know, get those steps in." sam suggested, taking a sip of her drink.
"hmm. sounds good. we have like six days so we can do what we want." taylor hummed.
"okay. imma put my shoes on and think about replying to my agent. just call
me when you wanna go, alright? okay." the brunette stated, sprinting to the hall to get her shoes and then back to her room to her computer.

the mother-daughter duo watched sam run around like a headless chicken and chuckled. taylor had fully accepted that she was dating a womanchild and this was fairly normal for the gray; andrea however, had forgotten how hyperactive sam was and could've sworn that she was seeing a toddler run around rather than a 24 year old. the pair exchanged an amused look and simultaneously drank from their cups.

AN HOUR LATER, taylor was finally ready to go for a walk. sam had already reluctantly answered all her emails in the meantime and had just got off the phone with her agent, ella, who had some upcoming jobs for her. one in an upcoming tv show and another in a film series. it was a lot of work, and it would be quite hard, but the brunette had accepted the auditions. glee season six was about to air and had already been mostly filmed so she was pretty much free of any jobs in the near future.

the gray left all her work related worries at the house as she and taylor began the trek up the road. taylor's parents' house was more secluded than the city so they could be a little more touchy than usual when outside. sam had opted to hold the singers hand as she walked and ranted on about different things she was interested in. she knew taylor didn't really care but the singer still made an effort to engage in the conversation, a quality that sam loved.

"and that's why buzz lightyear is the sexiest man alive." sam remarked, waving her hands around passionately.
"i thought you were a lesbian?"
"no, i'm american."
taylor rolled her eyes and chuckled slightly. "i love you." she muttered, placing a kiss on sams cheek.
"i love you too."
