Holly's Wish

PLOT: Person A and Person B smooch under a mistletoe

NOTES: hella decent fluff, and for once no swearing, Holly x Coaster and NOT a part of OSO, Humanized!

Holly's POV

I was finishing some touches to my house. What I was doing was having a christmas party at my house! It was going to be winter break for two weeks and my parents were on a trip the whole two weeks so I wanted some of my friends to hang out with me so I made a party just for them and I.

When I finished putting up the wreath and some hollies, I checked the time to see that it was 3 in the afternoon. I get down from my ladder and close it up before going into my garage to put everything back, the soft crunch of snow below my red fur boots . After I did that I texted my friends in the chat to see if they were coming. They all agreed to come and hang out so I couldn't wait for them to arrive.

Five minutes passed and I heard the doorbell. I happily get up to go grab it. Once I got there I opened the door to see Phonograph and OSO novel. I smile as I welcome them in.

They enter and got comfortable on my coffee brown couch. We chatted for a bit and caught up a bit due to us not being able to hang out for a while. During our conversation, the bell rings some more. I open the door to see Diamond, retainer, and...

Coaster...

I blush at the sight of her. Her beige colored turtleneck and her beautiful light brown to blond hair. I welcome them in and they join the other two. I walk to the kitchen to make us some small snacks. I come back to the area with a plate full of cheese blocks, honey, and some other snacks.
"Here's some snacks!" I said while placing them on the table. We all talked further afterwards. During our conversation I went to make dinner. Some penne pasta and spaghetti. Once I finished, I served it to the table as we continued our conversations about how Red Crayon was so rude to us the other day. While our conversation was going on, Diamond had to go and make a quick zoom call that she forgot about. I understood because, obviously, she's diamond. All five of us continued talking until Retainer left for his F.U.R meeting...it was weird because I don't think he was officially a part of the F.U.R...but didn't matter, we haven't hung out in a while so it'll be understandable if he ended up being a part of it. Now the four of us...then it went to three...that's when I panicked. I didn't wanna be alone with Coaster...

Sure, we're practically best friends but I don't wanna be alone with her...she's my crush? I can't...

It looked like I was panicking because then I didn't expect something. My thoughts came to a halting stop to feel a specific warm hand in my cold ones. I eye it without moving my head to see Coaster's hand holding onto mine. I blush even more. I look down and away before letting go of all control to hide my blush.
We hear Phonograph's phone going off. We look to see her eyebrows scrunch up.

"Ahh shoot guys, sorry. I forgot, I have to take my pills. I'll be back guys okay?" I freeze.

"U-uhm...you can take them here, let me get you water-"
"It's okay Holly! You did so much for us and even made food! The least you can do is relax with Coaster and just hang out! Besides, you guys haven't hung out in months!"
But-"
"Alright, I really gotta go, see you later!" Phonograph waves while walking to the kitchen to possibly grab a cup of water. I sigh while looking at my phone, desperately trying to look occupied.
"So, whatchu doin Holly?"

"O-oh, just, uhh, reading some article on the web...about Christmas"

"At this point I'm not even surprised about that..." Coaster laughs dryly and I softly laugh with her. Everything's silent.

"...hey Holly?"
"Yeah Coaster?"
"Do you have a crush on anybody?" I choke on my spit but cover my mouth.

"I'm gonna assume that's a yes...so, mind telling me who it is?" I panic silently while darting my eyes everywhere but near Coaster.

"W-well, who's yours? Why are you asking me all these questions but you don't answer them??"
"It's true, I really don't..."
"Hah! That's what I thought!" Despite my desperate cries to not hear her answer on who her crush is, I was curious.

"But who is your crush?"
"Hmm? Oh well...they're red."

"...there's many people who are red there..."
"Uhm..." Coaster looks to her left while thinking of something.
"They're red and they are really nice"

"Can you at least give me a distinct hint? I know most of the red ones at school and they're so extroverted and nice..."
"Alright fine, hint here...look up" Out of curiosity, I look up to see...

A mistletoe...on a fishing rod...

I blush immensely while all four of them laugh.

"Well I kinda figured you out and how you had a crush on me, so I made this plan because Diamond told me 'Holly's wish was to have me kiss you under a mistletoe' right?-"
"You stinking poop diamond!" I yell angrily while Diamond looks away and whistles, acting like he's never done it.

"Well, what are you waiting for Holly? Isn't this your wish?"

"Y-yeah...but-"
"It's okay love, I know you like me and I like you too...now, is it okay if I kiss you?"
"W-wait...I wanna kiss you..."

"Why? So you can 'become the dominant' in this relationship? Yeah, nice try, now lemme kiss you"

"Hmphhh fine..." We got close up together which took forever but eventually our lips met. My lips met with warm soft ones. We broke off as everyone cheered.

Huh...that really was something nice...

"Holly love, do you wanna be my girlfriend?" I blush at the question and the attractive girl in front of me. A dark pink shoes up on my cheekbones but I nod happily. We hug each other for the new relationship that I guess is our already.

"Welp, the ship had finally sailed! Now that Holly and Coaster's a thing, you guys should go on a double date with me and Extension Cord!" I smile at the suggestion and we all laughed together.Wow, I guess It really is my dream to be with Coaster...
