Adam Meeting ~A.S.~

    "Hey (Y/N)."

    "What the hell happened?"

    "Got into a fight, the other guy looks worse." You rolled your eyes at his statement, knowing the other guy probably looked better than him.

    "I'm kinda shocked you came in to seek attention, you seem like the type to not do that."

    "Well I came with two different agendas if you'd let me," you nodded your head, to get him to continue talking. "Well I wanted to say sorry for what happened the other day. You very much didn't wanna get involved, and Hannah only did it cause we were fighting over you."

    "I'm sorry, what? Why were you fighting over me?"

    "Because Hannah asked me if I thought any of her friends were hot, and I said yes."

    "Dumb mistake."

    "Yeah, I picked that up. Anyway, she then told me to tell her who and I said you." His words took you by surprise. Adam had always acted a certain way when he was around you, but everyone did. All your friends had told you that because you were a nurse they had to act a certain way around you; it was rather annoying.

    "Oh I never realized you'd felt that way."

    "Please don't think I'm coming on to you. I just don't have anyone to talk about this with anymore." You had known about Hannah's controlling 'stop talking to your friends' phase. She had forced Adam to stop contacting most of his friends because she claimed they hated her, but hell half her friends hated him.

    "Well since you don't have anyone anymore, consider me a friend. Trust me I never listen to what Hannah says anyway."

    "Thanks (Y/N)."

-- one year later --

    "Can you believe this!" Hannah yelled just as Marnie opened the door for you. Instead of an Adam dinner, she called an Adam meeting; something that usually happens over the phone but everyone was in the same area.

    "I'm so confused, what's happening?" You asked, not fully prepared for the words that were about to come out of Jessa's mouth.

    "Apparently, Adam doesn't have feelings for Hannah anymore. He says he's moved on to one of her friends."

    "Hannah brought all of us over because she knew that we'd obviously not be into him." Marnie added.

    To say you were freaking out was an understatement. When you and Adam started talking a year ago, you never thought it would become what it is now. Surprisingly, Adam's a very great person, who you fell for. So when Adam asked you out, about two months ago, the natural answer was yes. Hannah had told everyone that she was officially done with him, after the events of their last breakup. You really thought she wasn't going to contact him again; so the fear of him leaving you and the fear of losing your friends was strong.

    "So are we mad at Adam?" You asked, still trying to figure out all of what was happening.

    "Of course we are! How could he just forget all of what we did together?"

    "Because you broke up with him, Hannah," you yelled, everyone's eyes locking onto you. During these Adam meetings, you were usually the quiet one; you never really gave your opinion because you knew they'd find something bad about it. But this time, you couldn't just sit her and let her talk that way about Adam.

    "So what I broke up with him? He can't just move on!"

    "Yes he can, Hannah. That's the main thing about a break up, it allows you to see other people! Shouldn't you be happy? The last time you uttered Adam's name, you said you were happy."

    "Well I was at that point in time!"

    "Hannah, that's not how this shit works! You can't just make someone want you!"

    "It's you isn't it," Hannah's question literally stopped your heart from beating. "You're his new girlfriend aren't you?"

    "Hannah, look---"

    "You were supposed to be my friend, you were supposed to stand by me. But all you did was steal Adam, you whore!" Her words really hurt you. You've heard stories of friends fighting over a guy, but you never thought that you two would be in this scenario. You thought y'alls relationship meant more than just dick.

    "Look Hannah, I never thought you'd be mad at me over something like this. I thought I meant more to you but clearly I don't. I'll miss you as a friend." With those words you turned your back on Hannah, Marnie, and Jessa. You needed friends who were going to support you, even if that meant starting from the beginning.
