You're finally fading from all my internal discourse
Your name doesn't echo in the chambers of all I regret
Your face is faulty, the voice doesn't line up with your expressions
I wonder if you still recall me
I've tried so hard to prevent your name from slipping out of my mouth
In a way I wish I still missed you
Saw you for everything you promised you cared about
Gotten in your car and driven off into the unknown
Instead of crashing into the couch at home
But damn if you never broke my heart
I wouldn't be where I am now
With your laugh gone and your smile gone, but now my tears are all gone as well
