"Boss, we couldn't locate Mrs. Kim and Mr. Kim yet... but we've discovered someone moved them to Seoul Military Hospital.

They seem to be hiding there," a man dressed in black, his neck marked with a tattoo of the letter K, reported.

"Who helped them?" the boss demanded, his voice sharp and commanding.

"We haven't identified the person yet, but he's a young man in his mid-twenties," the tattooed man replied cautiously.

The boss leaned back, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "Interesting... anything else?"

"Yes, Boss. As per your orders, we've been monitoring Jisoo's bodyguard. He also went to the Seoul Military Hospital earlier today... with a woman. We suspect it might be Mrs. Kim."

The boss chuckled darkly, his fingers tapping the desk rhythmically. "Oh, it's all coming together now. If it's true, kill Mrs. Kim, Mr. Kim, and that pesky bodyguard of hers."

"Understood, Boss."

Meanwhile, Taehyung called Jin to inform him of the situation, then quickly picked up his mother from her small apartment. They rushed to Seoul Military Hospital. Taehyung was in such a hurry he didn't notice the car tailing him, watching his every move.

"Hyung, where is he? Where's my appa?"

Taehyung asked impatiently upon arriving, his voice laced with urgency.

"Taehyung, he's in room 334," Hoseok replied calmly. "But he's not in a condition to talk."

"I don't care, hyung. I need answers now," Taehyung snapped, his jaw tight with frustration. Without waiting, he marched toward room 334, his mother following close behind, trying in vain to calm him down.

When Taehyung entered, his father lay on the hospital bed, hooked up to multiple machines keeping him alive. His eyes opened weakly as Taehyung approached.

"Tell me everything," Taehyung demanded, gripping his father's hand tightly.

"Taehyung," his father rasped, his voice barely audible.

"Tell me!" Taehyung's voice rose, his frustration boiling over.

"Taehyung, please," his mother pleaded, tears streaming down her face. "He's too weak-"

"No, eomma," Taehyung interrupted, his voice shaking. "I've waited long enough. I need to know the truth."

His father exhaled shakily and nodded, gesturing for his wife to let him speak.

"I... worked for Kang Hyun, the mafia boss," his father began in a weak, trembling voice. "It was an arranged marriage with your mom, but I grew to love her. I hid my work from her... from everyone.

"Years passed. When you were born, I became terrified. I knew if I made a single mistake, they'd kill us all. That's why I sent you to boarding school. I wanted to protect you.

"But then... Kang Hyun was arrested, and his son, Kang Jung, took over. He wasn't like his father. He treated me like a slave, not a confidant. He forced me into impossible tasks. And when I failed..."

His father paused, his voice breaking.

"...he shot me in the legs and left me paralyzed.

"He wanted revenge against Kim Chang II, the officer who took down his father. He ordered me to kill Chang Il's wife and kidnap his daughter. I-" He broke off, tears streaming down his face.

"I killed her, Taehyung. I killed Jisoo's mother. But I couldn't bring myself to hurt the girl. They punished me for it, and I became useless to them.

"I'm sorry... I've ruined everything. I was a coward, and you and your mom have paid the price for my sins."

Taehyung stood frozen, the weight of his father's confession crashing down on him like a tidal wave.

His father's betrayal... the pain he'd caused... the truth was too much. Without another word, Taehyung stormed out, leaving his mother and father behind.

Outside the hospital, Taehyung broke down. Hoseok followed him, trying to offer comfort.

"Hyung, why does it always have to be me?" Taehyung sobbed, his voice hoarse. "He killed Jisoo's mom. How can I face her now? How can I look her in the eye knowing this? She forgave me for everything, but... this? She'll hate me."

Hoseok placed a reassuring hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "Taehyung, listen to me. This wasn't your fault. You didn't choose this. Jisoo loves you-don't give up on that."

Suddenly, gunshots echoed through the hospital.

Taehyung and Hoseok rushed back to room 334, but it was too late. His father lay lifeless, and his mother was barely breathing. The man who had followed Taehyung fled, leaving chaos in his wake.

Hours later, after ensuring his mother was stable, Taehyung drove home, his mind clouded with grief and rage.

But his instincts kicked in when he noticed a car tailing him. He pulled into a quiet street and parked, stepping out silently.

The pursuing car stopped, and a man emerged, holding a gun.

Taehyung moved swiftly, disarming him with a calculated shot to the leg. The man collapsed, screaming as taheyung punched him repeatedly.

He dragged the man to a safe house, tying him to a chair.

Taehyung leaned close, his voice low and dangerous. "You're pathetic. Did Kang Jung really think you could take me down?"

The man whimpered, his resolve crumbling under Taehyung's intense gaze.

"Now, you're going to tell me everything," Taehyung growled, his fists clenched. "Or I swear, you'll regret crossing me."
