Forensic Chemistry is using chemicals and chemistry in criminal investigations. Chemicals are tested and examined to determine whether they were used in a crime and who used the chemicals.

There are so many chemicals that are used in forensic chemistry. Some examples are methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, opium, oxycotin, aspirin, alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, and even NyQuil.

These tie into toxicology, because they are used to identify the chemical, what it was used for, why it was used, and who used it.

Marijuana and heroin are Schedule I drugs, cocaine, oxycotin, and opium are Schedule II drugs, and aspirin, alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, and NyQuil are Schedule V drugs. Each of these schedule drugs become less an les dangerous to one's self and society. Schedule I is the worst and Schedule V is the best. This doesn't mean that any certain drug should be taken in large, because every drug has varying side effects, but some drugs are less of a public danger than others.
