Hey lovelies,
I know this has been a long time coming, but I have been super super busy with various life events....and honestly, I'm trying not to repeat myself with chapters that I have written in previous stories....so I've kinda had a little bit of writers block.
Hopefully the wait has done this chapter justice.
As always, if you think it deserves it. Leave it some love.
See you soon,

Chapter 11
Elle POV
Thanksgiving had come and gone and there were only a few weeks left until school ended for winter break. My time with Noah was as short as ever and before I knew it, he was back on a plane to Boston. We had hoped to try and see each other again before winter break, but looking at our schedules and finals and everything else in between, it was going to be difficult. Hopefully with winter breaking coming around, we would finally be able to stop and enjoy a proper break - where we didn't have to worry too much about timelines and airport arrivals and departures.
Speaking of which, I really needed to get started on my Christmas shopping. Crap.
My apartment was coming along, my bank account was a little depleted due to all the new furniture that I had to buy, but I loved my new space. It was mine. I loved coming home after a day of classes and just falling into my new (and overpriced) couch and just being able to enjoy the silence or study or do what I needed to do. I loved having my friends over for study sessions and the walls were lined with photos of everyone and everything that I loved. My guest bedroom was practically Lee's room when he came to stay and I couldn't wait for Noah to finally see how it had all come together. The roses he had sent me were still going strong from their place on my kitchen bench. Lee surprised me by flying out to help me move in and then as usual, we spent the weekend eating pizza and moving things from one place to another. Noah called and I could tell that he was a little pissy that he was missing out, but I knew that come winter break he would be here with me.
I stretched out in my seat, as class came to a conclusion. My head felt like it was going to explode after a very content driven lesson. Our finals were in two weeks and we had just finished the lesson recapping the major things that we would need to know. This class was more theory based in comparison to my other classes, so my eyes were exhausted from looking over the notes. I looked over to my friends and their weary and tired expressions matched mine. Alexa met my eyes and made a motion with her hands 'Coffee?'
'Yep', I yawned, pulling my glasses from my face and placing them on the table. As the sounds of people starting to pack up reached my ears, Professor Mason called our attention back to the front of the class. Elliot and Hannah looked up from their phones, as a hush came over the classroom.
'Given we have finished our content for this semester, I am allowing you now to have our future classroom sessions as study sessions. Use them how you will, whether you choose to study on campus or off the choice is yours. I will be present in the classroom tomorrow for those of your that require or who would like some one on one tutoring of certain concepts otherwise you are free to use these private study sessions in preparation for your final in two weeks', she concluded as the class let out a collective sigh of relief.
She laughed, 'I take it you are happy with that! But please utilise your time wisely! I don't wish to receive emails the night before the exam begging me for answers....yes, it has happened. Have a good remainder of the week', she concluded.
'Oh thank god', I heard Alexa sigh as she clicked her laptop shut, 'I need a sleep in. Early weekend for us!'
I laughed as I nodded in agreement, we were all exhausted and most of our classes seemed to be taking on a similar approach. We were lucky, I don't think Berkley or Harvard was as kind.....
