Chapter 14

'Merry Christmas' I yawned into Noah's side as I felt him start to stir next to me. It was Christmas Day and usually we were waking up in different houses, but this morning he was by my side in our...well technically my bed....and it was really glorious! There was no mad rush to wake up and quickly try and get ready to head from one house to another, or Brad hadn't woken me up at some ungodly hour because there was a massive stack of presents under the tree that just had to be opened. It was nice to just enjoy it. There had been a lot of Christmas's so far - some with my whole family and I could still hear my Mum's laugh, some with the Flynn's and I knew that as time was moving us forward, Christmas would look different again for the years to come.

School had finished up for the winter break, with an influx of last minute assignments that needed to be handed in just before we left. My friends and I had one big Christmas party before everyone headed home for the holidays and then suddenly both Noah and Lee in LA were back and everything felt right again.

'Merry Christmas', he grinned, his voice was still thick with sleep, but he was awake. He pulled me closer to him and nuzzled into his favourite spot, my neck. We were quiet for a few minutes before, his arms loosened and he turned, leaning over the side of the bed and pulled out an envelope.

I grinned as I took the envelope from him and sat up, him copying my moves as he leaned back against the headboard. He ran a hand through his hair, as he urged me to open the envelope.

'What's this?' I asked and he shrugged, 'One of your Christmas presents.'

'Only one?', I teased.

'The major one', he emphasised. 'Don't worry, you will still have other stuff to unwrap under the tree'

I bit my lip as I slid my fingers under the lip of the envelope and pried it open. I pulled out the paper and my eyes glanced over reading dates, airport locations and booking numbers. I flicked to the next page and there was booking confirmation of a hotel. I looked up towards him and I could feel the smile erupt on my face, 'Holiday?'

He nodded, 'Summer Holiday'

'Maldives?'

He nodded, 'Maldives'

I squealed as I launched myself onto his lap and clapped my hands. He laughed, as he wrapped his arms around my waist. 'We need a break and we need to get away and relax by ourselves.....'

'You spoil me Mr Flynn', I laughed as he rolled his eyes, 'The holiday isn't just for you Elle....'

I smirked, 'No? So it wasn't your master plan to go some where that will pretty much have me in a bikini 24/7'.

He went quiet.

'Yep, I knew...Noah! I squealed, as she crashed me back to the bed, his weight a comfort on top of me. We were lost in each other for a few minutes before there was a knock at the door.

'When you are finished in there....there are a large amount of presents under the tree WHICH I would like to open while it's still Christmas.....', Lee called before we heard him stomp back up the hallway.
