Chapter 11.

Wait, I didn't have classes on Friday. I had taken the next two weeks off work to study. I was free......

I was up to date with all my work.

I really could study on the plane - no distractions up and back.

'Elle? Hello!', Alexa chimed as she waved her hand in front of my face. 'Did you hear what I said?'

I shook my head, 'Nope. Sorry' I grinned as I flicked open my laptop and started furiously typing and clicking in the browser.

'Study session this weekend. Or dinner? Or drinks?' Hannah asked as she grabbed her bag, sliding her phone into her pocket. The classroom was emptying, as everybody had either stopped to discuss questions or beg for answers with Professor Mason or had already left.

'Can't', I said as I quickly pulled my wallet from my bag as grabbed my credit card. I felt Alexa lean over my shoulder and read over the details on my screen.

'Nice!', she said, squeezing my shoulder as I continued to click away, locking in the last few details.

'What's up?', Elliot asked, sounding curious 'She booking us dinner?'

I swear the three of us all rolled our eyes at the same time, 'No. WE are going to dinner.....' Alexa started

'....I'm going to Boston', I finished as I clicked 'Book Now' and my flight details appeared on my screen.

Boston here I come.

E: No in person classes for school to study for finals. Heading to Boston to SURPRISE Noah (Fri - Wed)! See you when I get back. Love E xx

L: Nice! Enjoy....make sure someone records his face when he sees you! :P

J: He will love that! Be careful, please. J xx

After saying goodbye to my friends and them screaming at me to upload photos and to have a good time, I rushed home and packed my bags. Given that I didn't have classes tomorrow, I booked my flight for tomorrow morning, which would get me to Boston in the early afternoon. I knew that Noah had a game tomorrow night, so I had hoped that he would be distracted enough to not notice his biggest supporter cheering from the sidelines for him.

Throwing my carry on onto my bed, I would be in Boston until Wednesday and I couldn't wait to be back in the city. Noah had kept flying out to LA, but now it was my turn and I was super excited to head back. I hadn't been back since when Noah was a freshman and then it all practically blew up and I never got the chance to go again. There really was something about Boston and Cambridge that was truly amazing, and honestly I was sad to give it up when I declined Harvard. Throwing a few things into my carry on, a plan started to formulate in my head. I was going to have to be careful if Noah called, but I should be able to pull this off.

I bit my lip as I pulled my phone from my pocket and opened up my messages as I took a photo of my luggage and attached my boarding pass.

E: You know how much Noah hates surprises......

I sent the text and less that thirty seconds later my phone vibrated with a response.

To: Elle

C: *Screaming* IT'S ABOUT TIME MISS! OH I DO! I'll pick you up at the airport and then you are staying at mine. DON'T book a hotel. Can't wait to see you! xxxx
