I said laughing, Maia flipped her hair
Maia: Ha! You lost!
Kaden: No!
They started to argue again when my other friend came around, his name's Jack, he has black hair, brown eyes, he's sweet and caring, smart and well he's like my old brother, I can trust him everything.
Jack: Hello!
Maia: Stop being a crybaby!
Kaden: I'm not eating anything!
Maia: yes, you are!
I looked back at Jack who looked confused, he looked back at me and raised an eyebrow
Yn: They made a bet again-
Jack: Oh-
He giggled and the bell rang, I looked at my friends
Yn: I should be going to class
Jack: WE, should be going to class you mean!
I nodded and laughed quietly, Jack and I had the same class and we sat next to each other, we walked away while Maia and Kaden kept arguing with each other, we walked silently for a while and then I said.
Yn: How has your day been?
Jack: Very peaceful, actually
Yn: Were you expecting something else?
Jack: Yeah, actually
Yn: Same here, nothing has happened...
Jack: Maybe they'll wait until lunch time and make it ten times worse...
Yn: I guess, I hope you're wrong and hopefully they decided to take a break-
Jack: Dude, I hate those guys!
Yn: Mhm, me too!
After a few more minutes we arrived the classroom just in time before other students walked in, we sat down in the front as we always do and I started to get my books and notebook out, I stared at my table for a while when Jack poked my shoulder playfully
Jack: Hey would you like to do something this afternoon?
He smiled at me
Yn: Like what?
Jack: We could go to the park or something!
Yn: it'd be great but well...I'm kinda busy
Jack: Aw why?
Yn: Homework-
School's always been my priority, being the first place isn't easy and of course I have to make some sacrifices.
Jack: Math again?
Yn: As always!
He smiled at me and then looked back at the front, I'm going to be honest, I've been friends with Jack longer than Maia or Kaden, we've known each other since kindergarten! In fact, there was a time where I used to have a small crush on him, I did get over it, love it's not my thing, I'm not good with relationships.
Some more students walked in, and so did the teacher, who started the class immediately, behind me someone who I didn't want to look at sat down.
I was feeling a bit anxious, his presence made me anxious and just as I expected... suddenly the one sitting behind me started to play with a strand of my hair, making chills down my spine and giving me goosebumps, I let it happen for a few seconds and then I turned around to face him.
