He laughed

We laughed

Jack: Well uh, we texted for a while and then I just invited her to the dance

Jack: "I'll think about it"
Yn: Oh-
Jack: ...What?

Jack: What? Really?!
Yn: If a girl says that it means "well you're cute, but I'm lazy and not into you yet"
Jack: So she's not really gonna think about it?
Yn: Hm, nope, she'll probably say no the same day
He groaned
Jack: But I really like her!
Yn: Do you really want to go to the dance with her?
Jack: Yeah, I do!
Yn: Then tell her you can pick her up, maybe have a date before the dance, that way she'll catch interest
Jack: You really think so?
