CHAPTER SEVEN ::

"Why exactly do we need her?", Clay asked like the smart ass that he thought he was.

He was very much an asshole and not that smart.

"I don't need to be here. I can leave," I stated standing up with every intention of making him regret his words.

"No, you're staying," Jax said. He turned to Clay with a look. "Unless you can get my son back to me safe and sound sit this one out."

Clay snapped his mouth shut without another word. He saw the look on Gemma's and Jax's face that told him he needed to keep calm.

"Apologize..."

"I'm not going to apologize for nothing."

He looked me dead in the eyes.

I smirked as I said the words again and this time his eyes widened before he started apologizing.

"I'm sorry for being an asshole. You can help and I just need to sit down and shut up. All of this violence won't solve anything. We do need your help. We're lost without you."

"Aww, you didn't have to say all that," I mocked him as everyone watched in shock at how I got him to apologize.

"What the fuck did you just do?!", Clay snapped out of it and tried to charge me but Happy and Chibs held him back.

I flashed my eyes red with a smirk.

"Fuck with me if you're so bad."

"Clay, knock it off. Frankie, leave him be. We are on the same side," Gemma spoke up but I could see the fear but also some sort of respect shining in her eyes.

"Are we really?"

"Frankie..."

I threw my hands up and stepped back.

They kept talking about how they were going to pull them into a false sense of security while some of us stay on the lookout for Abel's whereabouts.

I personally would love to just find the head of all of this and give him the business.

Jax and I left them after they started barbecuing and having their drinks and girls. Gemma stood off to the side as Clay pretended to curve girls for her sake.

He took me back to the roof and we watched over the night with him rolling us up several blunts.

"Does he feel close?"

"I feel something that's connected to you. I'll have to get closer because these powers are general and to get something specific."

I knew this was going to be an uphill battle for them but I couldn't just snap my fingers and have baby Abel in my arms.

But I had an idea of how to find him.
