CHAPTER FOUR ::
[×]
Once I reached the club, I parked just outside the gates and waltzed in getting looks from their sweet butts and whores.
Gemma met me before I could even ask one of the workers where she was. She glanced over her shoulder and then turned back once whoever or whatever she was looking for didn't seem to be behind her.
"What have you got for me, Rachelle?"
I shook my head running a hand through my curls before pointing at her.
"When are you going to tell them?"
"Tell them what?"
"The secret... I know it, Gemma. I fucking kissed the asshole who did it just to find out what the hell you want."
"I didn't ask you to."
"How the fuck do you think I'm able to get such deep information from people? I have to have an intimate connection with them."
"Hey, what's going on?", Clay came out of the clubhouse and behind him, Jax.
I glared at Gemma. She had me over here doing all this bullshit but she had yet to get her house in order.
"What are you doing here?", Clay glanced between the two of us and I just stared at him.
He didn't have anything to say to me not after he nearly had me burned at the cross.
"Tell them or I will. I'm not going to deal with your shit and have to fight with them. This is for you and my Dad, no one else," I ignored the stares that I was getting because Jax didn't want to talk to me and Clay had nothing to ever say to me.
I turned to leave after giving her my ultimatum.
"Hey, wait up!", Jax called out.
I ran a hand through my hair turning to wait for him and figuring out what he had to say to me before he could even think it through.
"You didn't have to come back."
"Yes, I did. My Dad's sick. I've known for awhile but this town, this club, it's fucked up and I'm not going through Hell again."
"Can you help us find Abel or not?"
"What do you care? You never wanted him in the first place."
"He's MY son."
I scoffed already having his memories forced into my head like a film. He didn't want marriage, didn't want a kid, and he sure as Hell didn't want to go into guns when he became Prez.
"I'll see what I can do, Jax."

The bad aura around Charming was thicker than usual.
I found myself sitting at Gemma's kitchen table with a cup of tea in front of me.
"What else do you know besides the fact that I was gang raped by white supremacy assholes?"
"You should be in hiding. They have an APB out on you and you haven't gone running yet."
"Tired of running."
"I bet. But if you go to Belfast with Jax, you're making it worst."
"Just tell me what I want to hear."
"Abel's in Belfast. He's being adopted by a family in two days. The same people you put your trust in is the same people readily handing over Jax's son."
"Who?", her eyes were wide.
"The Belfast club. Jimmy's there, too. Don't let the father onto you. He'll push the adoption because he knows it is leverage for a bigger picture."
Gemma sat down across from me and shook her head.
"You have any idea who or what this big picture is?"
I shook my head because my sight couldn't tap that far especially if the decision hasn't been officially made.
"Come with us then."
"No! What? I'm just supposed to help you figure this shit out not be in the midst of it."
"Well you're in it now."
