Simply Amazing ?

CHAPTER SIX ::

Jax and I fell asleep after I showed him a few basic things that I could do with the power I was given.

He asked if my mom was a witch.

I honestly couldn't answer that question because I had no idea where these powers came from. Ever since I was a child, I could do stuff like read minds, talk to animals, or just make stuff happen when I felt strongly about something.

When we woke the next morning, I was curled up against his chest and once I noticed I got away.

"You spent your first night in Belfast with me. I'm sure you missed out on a lot of partying, drinking, and women. I'll buy you some breakfast to make up for it."

"Nah, it's okay, darlin'. I don't need any of those things at the moment anyways."

"Well... What do you want to eat?"

"Waffles and eggs."

"Okay."

I finished cooking up some breakfast since thankfully my motel had a kitchenette and when I headed back to the bedroom, I found Jax with his eyes closed.

"Abel's not far," I assured him sitting on the edge.

He opened his eyes with this faraway look in his eyes. Like he was unsure about something.

"Have you ever been wrong?"

"You were scared because you thought I would hurt you and your family. Seeing me like that, you wanted to walk away from the Sons but you didn't... I know that you killed on Tara's behalf, you have demons from knowing about Donna's killers getting no justice, and you probably want to protect Abel from everything in this world at the moment."

Jax took the plate I extended to him and neither admitted or denied my reading of him.

There was no way I was letting him leave Belfast without his son but we'd have to do this my way and not theirs. Blood and chaos was not what I wanted my legacy to be.

Plus blood stains your hands for years and years to come.

A/N: Didn't think this one was that special but I guess I'll have to rekindle my imagination for this ! ☺️
