Jack: If she's so annoying then why does Albert keeps talking with her?
Mark: Well she follows him everywhere it's not like he has a choice
The bell rang
Jack: Yikes, gotta go to math
Mark: Yn we have chemistry, let's go
Yn: See ya later Jack
Jack: Bye guys
I walked with Mark to our classroom, when I walked inside I saw Kirsten and Albert sitting down together, Albert stared at me for a while and waved, I ignored him and sat down with Mark on their right. My designated seat was always next to Mark, however Albert should have been sitting with Ann, my stomach lurched.
Mark looked at me and frowned, he leaned closer and whispered
Mark: You okay doll?
I forced a grin
Yn: Mhm! Why?
Mark: Well you're...
Yn: ...
Mark: Very pale
I nodded and grinned
Yn: I'm fine I just...
Mark: ...?
Yn: Forgot to put blush on today... That's all
I said looking away, the teacher walked in and started to give some instructions, I wasn't paying attention, I just noticed Albert looking at me at times, after some more minutes I started to pay attention again, the teacher said.
"So get yourself a partner! It'll be 50% of your score"
I shook my head confused and looked at Mark, he noticed I looked at him confused and leaned closer and whispered.
Mark: It's a project, an essay
Yn: About what?
Mark: Minerals or something like that
I giggled softly
Yn: In pairs?
Mark: Yeah
I assumed it was pretty obvious I was gonna do the project with Mark, but I still asked
Yn: ...We're gonna work together, right?
His face lightened up
Mark: No doubt about it Yn!
He said and high fived me, the rest of the people began to disperse around the room forming their groups, I remained seated until I noticed how Albert walked towards me and stood in front of my desk.
Albert: Yn!
Yn: Hm?
Albert: Wanna be my partner?
He said in a casual tone, smiling softly, I couldn't help but blush a little and smile too, but then I looked back at Kirsten, who looked at me serious and raised an eyebrow, I felt trapped and stuttered.
Yn: I'm gonna work with Mark
Mark stared at us quietly, suddenly I felt tense
Albert: But-
Yn: Leave already
I said serious looking to him, he stared at me shocked, not believing how I just treated him, he frowned and the walked back to his desk, Mark looked at me shocked too and after a few seconds he leaned closer to me and said.
Mark: ...Did you two have a fight or something?
Yn: Uhm, no I just...
Mark: ...
