Y/n's POV:

It was finally the day of the premiere of the second season of Heartstopper. This was the first time you would be attending a big premiere. Sure, you had been to premieres before, but being part of the second season of Heartstopper showed you opportunities that you didn't even know existed before becoming part of the show.

Another reason why you found myself looking forward to the premiere and why you felt like your heart would surely beat out of your chest, was that Kit and you were announcing the fact that you were dating. It has been more than half a year of sneaking around, meeting each other in secret, and you decided it was best to tell the world. There is only so much you can hide and you were aware that people would find out sooner or later. The cast was aware of your relationship, it would've been nearly impossible for them not to with how Kit looked at you.

You smoothed out the imaginary folds in your outfit, lucky that the sweat doesn't leave any signs on your cloths as they touch. Putting on your shoes, you nervously wait for Kit, who turns out to be standing right outside your front door.

There he was, standing in a nice suit, grinning like a little kid on the playground. "The car is already parked outside. Do you need more time?" You shake my head, leaving your home as you take Kit's hand in yours, making your way to the car that's waiting for you.

After a while, you can barely fee the tension in your body anymore, however, when Kit takes your hand back in his, you become painfully aware of it, and you also become aware of every ounce of it melting away.

As the two of you step out of the car, his hand slips out of yours again and the flashing lights hit your face, almost blinding you. You notice quite a large amount of fans standing at the side, shouting things, which you can't quite make out.

A smile stretches across your face as you wander over to them, signing things and talking to them. While you're talking to a fan, you can feel Kit's hand rest on your back, as he greets some of the fans himself.

"Yeah, I mean... Filming was so much fun, especially with such an awesome team, you know?" The fan he was just talking to smiled and nodded, talking to Kit. The camera flashes seem to fade into just one as you prepare yourself for what's to come next.

As you start to pose, you notice an young lady waiting for an interview with someone from the cast, so you make your way to her, greeting her. The interview seems to go very smoothly until Kit walks over to you, smiling. You can't help but stare at him. At his pretty hair, at his kissable lips, at his beautiful eyes.

He joined the interview, the two of you answering the interviewer's questions, you a bit more distractedly than him. "And what would you say about the dynamic of the cast?" She asks, handing the microphone to the two of you. "I mean, we're all great friends and I'm really glad I got the opportunity to be part of the second season, especially because I met Kit." You smile, looking back at Kit, who seems to have waited for you to meet look at him, smiling when you do.

"And what would you say about your dynamic? You seem to be great friends." She smiles, trying not to cross any lines with the two of you. "I'd say that we're a great team. Not a lot of people know this yet, but we've been in a relationship for 7 months now and I think our differences as well as similarities are what make us work out." Kit smiles as he answers, his eyes fixating on me.

"Well, thank you for telling us and thank you for answering our questions!" The both of you continue doing interviews, getting pictures of you taken and so much more.

But in the end, it's all worth it, because you get to see Kit's smile.
