After my fight with Keith, I had decided I was done. I wasn't being of any help here, and I was seeming to just make things worse. I was having weird visions, which were probably just me hallucinating from the strange space food I had had to adjust to. So I went to my room and packed up my things. It wasn't like I had a lot. I would talk to Coran about getting a ship to fly out of here. I think he would understand. There would be a party tonight with the Arusians, and I could head out in the middle of that while no one would suspect anything. Of course, I would say bye to my friends, but maybe with just a hug and not saying anything else. And I was going to avoid Keith at all costs. I didn't want anyone trying to stop me. I needed to be useful. I needed to find Matt.
I packed up my things and was ready to go. It wasn't like I had a lot. I walked down the hall, almost trying to be inconspicuous. I needed to find Coran while not making a big deal out of this. Unfortunately, I began to hear the sounds of the Arusians in the main deck. I guess the party had started already. I guess I'll just drop my things off in the ship garage and get a drink or something.
After I had dropped off my duffle, I headed back to the main deck. The Arusians were putting on some weird play, and I didn't exactly know what to do. I just stood in the back quietly, and an Arusian waitress brought me a weird drink that honestly tasted awful.
"Thank you, Your Majesty, for that... wonderful production," Allura said while biting her tongue. "It saddens me that we must leave tomorrow, but we must continue our battle with Zarkon and spread peace throughout the universe."
Allura pulled out a communicator and gave it to the king. "Your Highness... please accept this gift. This will allow you to contact us anytime you need help. Arus will be the first planet in the Voltron Alliance."
The Arusian king squealed with delight. "Hoorah!" His people followed suit.
I smiled. I'm glad they were helping people. I just wanted to do that too.
Keith was a mess, and it actually bothered him. Why had he let his temper get the best of him again? He didn't have a ton of friends, and he didn't want to push a good one away. He thought he might have lost me.
"We ought to get something like that," Hunk said, interrupting Keith's train of thought.
"Like what?" Lance asked.
"You know, like, a cheer. Like, a team cheer that we do."
"Mm-hmm. Yeah, okay. How about, uh... I say 'Vol' and you say 'Tron.' Vol—!"
Keith wanted to be included but was having a hard time following. "Uh... Vol-tron?"
Lance looked at him, quite confused. "No! No, no, no, no, no. The cheer includes the instructions. I say 'Vol' and you say..."
"... Vol-tron?" Keith asked.
"... We'll work on it."
Keith shrugged and left the conversation. He needed to find Shiro. He was already mad at himself, but if he could do the one thing I had asked of him, it would make him feel somewhat better.
"Hey," Keith said to Shiro once he found him.
Shiro smiled, almost forced. "Hey, what's up?"
"Uh," Keith started, almost forgetting why he had come over, "(Y/N) talked to me earlier today. She had mentioned how she had had some visions about things before they had happened."
Shiro thought for a moment. "That explains how she knew that I had fought that gladiator before."
Keith was honestly surprised at this reaction but continued anyway. "Well, she mentioned how she had a vision recently, about Galra still here on Arus who are planning an attack."
