Keith and I walked into the castle control center just as the rest of our team entered as well. Pidge and Shiro walked in with ease, while Hunk and Lance groaned, leaning over, and cracking various bones.

“You made it,” Allura said.

“Yeah, just barely. That was a nightmare,” Lance said as he cracked his shoulder. “I almost puked out there. I felt like Hunk!”

“Think how I felt. I am Hunk,” Hunk complained.

“Yeah, we had a tough time too,” Pidge said, glancing at Shiro with a grin.

“Did we find the Red Lion yet?” Shiro asked.

Coran stepped forward, presenting the news.

“Allura just located it. There's a bit of good news and bad news. The good news is, the Red Lion is nearby. The bad news is, it's on board that Galra ship now orbiting Arus,” he said, making us worry. “But wait, good news again. We're Arus!” He exclaimed.

“They're here already?!” I asked.

“Yes,” Coran said sadly. “Guess my calculations were a bit off. Finger counting--It's more of an art than a science.”

Suddenly, the screen displaying our info glitched, replacing our stuff with a picture of what I guess was one of the Galra. His skin had a dark purple tint, and one of his yellow eyes was replaced with a robotic one of some sort.

“Princess Allura, this is Commander Sendak of the Galra Empire,” he spoke. “I come on behalf of Emperor Zarkon, Lord of the Known Universe. I am here to confiscate the lions. Turn them over to me, or I will destroy your planet.”

The video glitched away, leaving us with too many questions. Silence filled the room as we felt the panic level rise.

“All right, let's not panic,” Shiro said.

“Not panic?” Hunk asked. “The scary purple alien thing is driving his battle ship towards us. We only have four lions.”

“Technically, only three working lions,” Pidge interrupted.

“That's right. Thank you Pidge,” Hunk groaned. “Three working lions and a castle that's like, ten thousand years old!”

“Actually, it's ten thousand, six hundred years old,” Coran stated. “You see, it was built by my grandfather--”

“Thanks, Coran,” Hunk slapped a finger over the dude’s mustache. “Thank you for that. See? Now is the perfect time to panic!”

“Wait! This castle has a particle barrier we can activate,” Allura realized.

“Girl, you've already activated my par--”

“Lance!” Shiro and I warned, quieting him.

“The particle barrier won't hold Sendak's ion cannon forever,” Coran calculated. “The Galra technology must have advanced since we fought them last.”

“Well, it has been ten thousand years,” I said.

“Panic now?” Hunk asked.

“No. We've just got to figure out our plan of action,” Shiro said.

“And figure it out quickly,” I added.

“I say we pop through a wormhole and live to fight another day,” Lance suggested.

“I second that,” Hunk stammered. “Yes. We tried to find all the lions, right? We gave it the old college try. Couldn't do it. We only have three, we can't form Voltron.”
