No ones POV:
Zuko was thrown roughly into a cell, the door slammed behind him. Surging to his feet, he threw himself at the door even though he knew it was no use. A moment later, Y/N was thrown into the cell next to him.
"That is no way to treat a lady!" she snapped.
"Lady?" the guard laughed, "All I see is a small town whore!"
"How dare you speak to her like that!" Zuko cried from next door, still crashing against the door. Fire erupted from his hands but the door was thick steel and he just left scorch marks.
"Many apologies, Your Highness!" the guard called, sarcastically, still laughing, "Enjoy your night. We ship out tomorrow."
Their footsteps faded until there was silence. In the quiet, Zuko felt the fight in him ebbing away, until he staggered to the wall that his and Y/N's cells shared and sat, leaning against it. Y/N sat in the other side, pulling her knees to her chest and trying to be as small as possible.
            "Zuko?"
            "Yeah?"
She sighed. Somehow it was comforting to just hear his voice, know he was just on the other side of these stones. "What's gonna happen to us?" she asked, with a shaking voice.
"You'll probably become a slave. Though doing what, I don't know, since you're virtually useless,"
She gave a small grin, "You said I'm a good kisser."
"That's right, I did say that," he admitted, with a err of defeat. He continued, "As for me, I'll probably be brought home for my father to hand-pick my punishment."
There was a long silence before Y/N asked, "Are you scared?"
Zuko closed his eyes and sighed, before lying, "No, of course not."
             Another silence.
"Don't be scared, okay? I'm right here,"
             Dammit. "Yeah, okay,"

My POV:
As the afternoon dragged on, I got tired of sitting and started pacing my cell, racking my brain for a way to escape. If I got hauled to the Fire Nation and sold into slavery I may never find my friends. I peered out the tiny window in my cell. The military base we had been brought to sat on a cliff overlooking the sea. Waves lapped at the polished stone maybe one hundred feet down. The water appeared deep and there was no rocks to dash myself on. Besides that, my window was just large enough to fit through.
But I wouldn't leave without Zuko. I couldn't tell you why I cared so much for him despite my instincts telling me not to, but I wasn't letting him go back to his father.
Just then, laughter caught my ear. Two guards were staggering closer to my cell, clearly intoxicated. An idea alighted in my mind—a terrible, horrible idea, but it's all I had. Putting on my best seductive face, I went to the barred window in the door and caught the closest guards eye, "Hey, there..."
            He paused, "Hi."
I swallowed back the bile that rose at the look on his face, "Come in here, would you?"
  "Uh...well..."
"I'm lonely and cold, I could really use a big strong guard to keep me warm," I pouted.
Chuckling, the guard reached for his keys, but his friend stopped him, "That's not a good idea."
To my relief, the guard shrugged him off, "Ah, piss off! She's just a girl—I'm sure I can handle her. Head back to the barracks. I'll meet up with you later."
As his friend walked off, he opened my door. I let him back me into the wall, stripping off his armor in pretend passion. That's when I ripped the dagger from his belt, clapped a hand over his mouth, and sunk the blade into his stomach. I steered the body onto my cot and plucked the key ring from his belt. Before the adrenaline could wear off and make me second guess this, I dashed into the hall, hurriedly unlocked Zukos cell and slipped in.
My companion bolted up from where he was laying on his cot, "Y/N?"
"Come on, we're getting out of here," I said, closing the door behind me and dragging his cot in the way.
"Then why are you blocking the only way out?" he questioned, frustrated.
"Because we're not going that way," I pointed to the window.
"Oh, hell, no. I choose life,"
The next second, there were shouts and running footsteps and someone tried to shove the door open. "Well, there you go," I gestured to the door, "Hope you won't mind fighting all those guards."
I turned to the window. As if in an effort to stall me, Zuko asked, "How'd you even get those keys?"
              "I seduced a guard," I stated, flippantly.
The look on Zukos face made it all worth it—he spun on his heel as if he would take on all the guards on the base. "He's dead now," I added, pointedly.
After a moment of looking between me and the door he nodded, "Lucky bastard. Fine."
He followed me to the window I was already shimmying out. My top half hung out the window, when I pushed off hard against the outer wall and slipped all the way out. Gravity yanked at me immediately and being acutely aware of nothing touching me as I plummeted made me realized what a terrible idea this was.
But I hit water only a second later. A few second of thrashing towards the surface I heard a muffled splash that had to be Zuko following me. When my head broke through the surface I could hear him a ways off calling frantically.
             "Y/N! Y/N!"
"Here! I'm over here!" I splashed over to him, the current much stronger than it looked from the windows.
Relief washed over his face—and then was quickly replaced by frustration as I instinctively grabbed onto him to keep afloat and almost forced his head underwater. Cursing, he brushed me off, then pointed aggressively at a strip of beach fifty yards out, "Land."
