Your POV:

Velvet and I were just chilling at her place for the day, nothing else honestly. We sat on the couch, watching television for a bit before I felt a stare from the side. It was of course Velvet herself. She couldn't gaze elsewhere, so I stared back, waiting for something to occur. A small giggle came from her, nuzzling into my chest for warmth. "You're so silly" Velvet jokes, poking my nose gently. 

"Why am I silly?" I chuckled, brushing the hair away from her eyes.

"So we're just gonna have a staring contest, aren't we?" the red-head asked.

"You started it" I mused, booping them back on the nose. She remained on my chest, eyes glued to the screen once more before scheming something. I knew it always from that evil grin on her face. "What's up?" I wondered. "Nothin' much, just wanna try something" she stalled, getting adjusted in my lap before kissing me passionately. A bit stunned I was, hesitantly laying my hands on their waist before furthering myself in her embrace. After one long kiss, we finally parted. I was panting, I thought I'd never get air again!

"Damn, you can only go that long?" Velvet teased, fiddling with the top of my sweater. 

"I wasn't ready, you caught me by surprise!" I retorted. 

"Here, then try again" she warned, this time slowly entering the kiss. I finally had time to respond, smooching back and gently caressing her torso. She pushed me back a tad on the couch, practically laying on top of me. Just how long was this gonna go? I hadn't even realized my hands were trailing around Velvet's hips. She broke from the kiss first, eyeing me quizzically. 

"Something wrong?" I queried. "Seems like you got in the heat of the moment" she laughed, motioning towards my hands that still gripped her hips. "Whoops, my bad" I chortled away, reeling my hands back from her body. 

"You're alright" she noted, lounging back on my chest, this time facing away from me. I looked down to see her once again spectating the small electric box on the table. Her hair tends to always dangle in front of her eyes, occasionally reaching to tuck it behind her pointy ears. "You're cute" I mumbled, kissing the top of Velvet's head lightly. Her eyes trailed up to meet mine, a finger booping the bridge of my nose another time. 

"And you're adorable" she smiled, taking my hand in hers before focusing elsewhere from me. I too did the same, watching cartoon on the couch with Velvet. It was like that for the majority of the day, eventually I decided to get up for snacks. "Do you want anything, Velvet?" I asked.

"Any fudge brownies left?" she wondered. I checked the top shelf of the cabinet and bingo! A still full container of brownies. "Yeah, there's more" I replied. With the container and crackers for myself, I headed back to the couch, handing Velv her treats while I chowed down on mine. Once in a while, I caught her staring at me again, not with a cheesy grin per usual, just a blank face. "What you thinking about?" I questioned. "Hm?" she hummed.

"You were staring again" I informed the clueless girl.

"Ah, I was just dazed" she replied, stuffing down another brownie. It was irresistible to leave her sitting there with a blank face, so I took the liberty of kissing her as revenge, tickling her neck with tiny osculates. "W-wait n-no! I'm ticklish there!" she belched, attempting to pry me off while endlessly laughing. A few more kisses around, and I was satisfied to stop our silly games there. "Gotcha back" I smirked. "You're so goofy" she beamed, pulling me back for one final kiss. 

"Love ya" she smiled. "I love you too, Velv" I returned, hugging them tightly. Perhaps too comfortably also, we both hadn't even noticed we were falling asleep on the couch, the sound of faint murmurs and silly sounds coming from the television comforting us in the silent home.
