This is a reboot of the original book I made weeks ago. I'm here with a brand new plot, a different setting, but it will be set in the Modern Warfare (2019) Universe.
3 years after the main events of Modern Warfare, a collective bunch of mercenaries...
9:45... Morning. The gas from the Shilin Night Market has dissipated, leaving the market contaminated where hazmat teams clean it out and try to collect samples via swabs. The fire from the Taipei 101 building has gone out after being extinguished by firefighters.
Outside the city, at an abandoned sugar factory, multiple tents have been set up at what was once the parking lot, turning the whole place into a military outpost that can be used by Seiryu, Xu, Michael, Roger and August (Who are all walking together toward the site)

Xu: "这里曾经是糖厂，现在是鬼的天堂。 它已被遗弃，因此我们将其用作前哨。" (This used to be a Sugar Factory, now it's a ghost's paradise. It's been abandoned and so, we're using it as an outpost.)
Seiryu: "前哨站的有趣选择......你昨晚联系的其他佣兵在哪里？" (Interesting choice for an outpost... Where are those other mercs you contacted last night?)
Xu: "入站。 预计到达时间，大约 3 分钟。" (Inbound. ETA, about 3 minutes.)
Seiryu nods and he walks toward a tent with Xu, revealing bunk beds inside it. There, a box of MREs is on the side and a small lamp hangs from the ceiling above. The other tents are for meetings and the last one's a small area to eat snacks and chat.
August: "Hm, nice. Not too shabby. I think I could call this place a home."
Xu: "Reviews can come later, August. Right now let's settle in first and wait for everyone else so I can give everyone here a briefing. Remember, I'm going to be in charge for now."
Everyone complies and they set down on their beds. Seiryu is at the bottom, and above him is Xu. As for August & Roger, they're in their bunks with Roger taking the top bunk while August is below him. Michael's on his own here.
In bed, Seiryu opens up his bag to grab out his M13 which has been disassembled and he starts reassembling it to check it. He pulls back the charging bolt to inspect the inside before letting go and taking out the mag to start loading it with 300 blackouts and leaves the safety on his gun.
