An Assignment To Accomplish (Rebooted)

3 days later...

A chattering of men and a few women fill the meeting room as the president along with several officials including the Full General of the Taiwanese Army, the Navy's Full Admiral, the Marine Corps General, including the Air Force Full General.

ROC Marine Corps General: "总统先生。 我们的下一步是什么？ 这个国家已经进入了"大规模歇斯底里"阶段。 人们已经上街了。 如果我们不采取任何行动，如果我们不采取行动，国家就会分崩离析，我们的人民不会将我们视为国家的救世主，他们会将我们视为"穿着漂亮制服"的一群无用的人，先生。"
(Mr President. What is our next step? Already, the nation's going into a 'mass hysteria' phase. People are already on the streets. If we don't do anything, if we don't act the country will fall apart and our people won't see us as heroes of the nation, they'll see us as a useless bunch 'wearing pretty uniforms', sir.)

ROC Army Full General: "恰恰。 我们需要采取行动。 联合国对中国大陆与我国之间的冲突一无所获。 我们受到威胁，他们没有关注我们所处的情况。我们必须按照自己的方式行事，长官。 下一个订单是什么？"
(Precisely. We need to act. The United Nations has addressed nothing about the conflict between mainland China and our nation. We're under threat and they're not looking at the situation we're in. We must act on our own terms, sir. What are the next orders?)

The president has his hands on his face, rubbing his eyes as he lets out a sigh of uncertainty. He looks at everybody at the table, thinking about what to say. He's speechless.

President: "4天前，中国还没有就九份袭击事件作出任何回应。 我们-
(China hasn't addressed anything about the Jiufen attack 4 days ago. We—)

Before he finishes his sentence, the door to the room opens and in comes Seiryu, who's got a mark on his head, a scab healing a wound by the scalp. With him is everybody else who takes a seat at the table including Michael and Xu.

President: "你在这里。 好的。 我们正在讨论下一步行动。"
(You're here. Good. We were discussing the next course of action.)

ROC Marine Corps General: "联合国对这场冲突没有采取任何行动。 所以我们在这里，决定我们是否应该按照自己的条件行事。 联合国没有提供帮助，因此外部帮助不再是我们的选择。"
(The UN hasn't done anything about this conflict. So here we are, deciding whether we should act on our own terms or not. The UN's not helping, so outside help is no longer an option for us.)

Xu: "先生。 我建议我们应该开始招聘。 如果必须要征兵入伍，我们需要尽一切努力在他们再次发动袭击之前保卫我们的家园。 他们的下一次罢工可能比之前的先生更糟糕。 九份被毁后，我们已经承担了损失。 我们必须开始寻找方法来保护我们的人民和我们的土地免受 NPLACCP 和红十字会的侵害。"
(Sir. I suggest that we should begin recruitment. Draft people into the military if you must, we need to do everything we can to defend our homeland before they strike again. Their next strike may be worse than the previous sir. We've taken a toll on damages after the destruction of Jiufen. We must begin searching for ways to protect our people and our lands from the NPLACCP and Red Cross.)

Then, the Full Admiral speaks up.

ROC Navy Full Admiral: "而王辉呢？ 他不在吗？"
(And what about Hui Wang? Isn't he here?)

Next to him, the marine's General speaks up.

ROC Marine Corps General: "我的手下搜遍了整个国家。 任何地方都没有他的踪迹。 他们已经找了将近3天，没有他的踪迹。"
(My men have searched the whole country. There have been no signs of him anywhere. They've looked for nearly 3 days and there's been no sign of him.)
