I'm With You (Aizawa x OC)

Chapter Four

Kazu was silent for a moment as she took in her options. He was right, this was a huge opportunity for her to do honest work. She would also have a place to sleep at night and she wouldn't have to wonder when her next meal might be. She also could use a character witness, because how things were looking for her right now, the jury wouldn't bat an eye at her. She would be thrown in jail rather quickly.

She rubbed her chin as she thought. There was only one problem with his offer, one he was completely unaware of. She was an omega and he was an alpha. The thought of living with an alpha was enough to make Kazu's blood immediately run cold. What would happen if he found out? Would he turn her in or would he try to mark her? She didn't want to find out. She knew what an alpha-omega bond was like and she didn't want any part of it.

"If I took you up on your offer, what would my job duties entail?" Kazu asks quietly.

Aizawa's eyebrows furrow in annoyance. "You will take Eri to and from school, help her with homework, pick up after her, cook for her, and lastly, play with her." Crossing his arms over his chest, he continued again, "If you decide to take me up on my offer, there will be some strict ground rules in place you must follow. The moment the rules are broken, my trust in you will also be tarnished and you will return to jail once more. Remember, the bail bond is refundable, I can easily take you back."

Kazu hums in acknowledgment. She already knew her decision but wanted to hear what his rules entailed. She could never be too sure, right?

"Okay...and what are these strict ground rules you have?" she asks a little louder, crossing her legs as she settles more into the big chair.

Aizawa scoffed. "Are you going to take the job or am I going to waste my breath?"

"I just want to know the rules. You know, in case I don't agree with them." Kazu smirks.

"Fine. Although, I could care less about what you think of my rules. They will not change to fit your preference." He hisses.

Kazu smiles, a playful glint in her eyes. "Yes sir."

Aizawa narrows his eyes, "My rules are very simple. Rule number one, no lying. I take trust very seriously and the moment you are untruthful, any trust will be revoked. Rule number two, no stealing. I will provide all of your basic needs therefore there should not be a need for you to steal."

Kazu nodded her head. Those rules seemed reasonable enough. Maybe this wouldn't be bad at all.

"Lastly, rule number three," Aizawa continued. "Absolutely no drugs. This should be a given as you are going to be caring for a child but it must be stated nonetheless. There should never be a time this rule is broken."

Kazu froze. Her suppressants. How could she obtain them without breaking his rule? They were illegal and considered dangerous drugs. There was no way she could go without them, though. Without suppressants, her heat would make itself known, and her secret life of omega would be out. Her face paled as she thought of the idea.

On one hand, she had to agree to his rules. She couldn't deny this was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of chance, but on the other hand, she needed her suppressants. Kazu bit her lip. She would have to figure that out at a later time. Nodding her head, she met Aizawa's cold glare.

"Okay...I'll agree to your rules. I will also accept your offer and become a nanny for Eri."

Aizawa's shoulders slumped, seeming to relax a bit now that he knew Kazu would make the smart decision of working for him.

"Great, then that settles it. Although, I must add one last thing before we go forward," he growled.

Kazu furrows her eyebrows, noticing how his entire demeanor shifts to something much darker.

"The moment I feel Eri is unsafe or in any kind of danger, I will personally escort you to prison. Her protection is of utmost importance to me and I'll be damned if I let anyone hurt her. You have one chance, Ms. Kazu. Do not let me regret my decision of helping you." he seethed, a dangerous glint sparked in his dark eyes.

His tone caused Kazu to flinch. He was serious and she knew not to cross him at that moment. She knew she would never hurt Eri, but he had no idea who she was or what she was truly capable of. This entire offer of his was going off of trust and his opinion of Kazu with Eri.

Kazu nodded her head once, "I would never hurt Eri. It's not who I am."

"I have no idea who you are. You must prove your worth to me." Aizawa explains as he stands, letting out a sigh, and begins to walk out of the lounge room. "Come this way, I'll show you to the guest room."

Kazu quickly stood and followed behind him. The two of them walked down a hallway and stopped at the last door.

"This will be your room for now. You can come and go as you please but make sure you are considerate and do so quietly."

Opening the door to the room, Aizawa steps aside to allow Kazu to walk in. Walking into the room, Kazu's eyes widened in awe and she curled her lips up into a genuine smile.

"Whoa, Mr. Zawa! Take a look at this room!" Kazu squealed excitedly. A massive queen-size bed sat in the middle of the room with two bedside tables on each side. A large loveseat was placed on one side of the room with a small leg table in front of it. On the other side of the room sat a large wooden armoire with a full-length mirror beside it. Kazu turned around to see a giant flat-screen TV mounted to the wall and a small coffee station in the entertainment center below it.

A spacious closet was located in the corner of the room and Kazu was sure an entire car could fit inside of it. Turning to the other side of the room, she noticed another door connected to the room.

"Where does that door lead?" she questioned.

"That is the private guest bathroom. It is a full-size bathroom and is yours to use while you are here." Aizawa grumbled.

Kazu quickly opened the bathroom door and a small gasp escaped her lips. She couldn't take her eyes off the large tub that filled the room. She was sure going to enjoy that while she was here.

Aizawa watched as Kazu inspected the room as if it were a 5-star resort. She had said she has been on the street for ten years. This was probably the nicest place she has stayed at this entire time. His eyes softened for a moment as he thought about her situation. Why was this girl homeless for so long? Surely she had a family or friends that could have taken her in. Someone had reported her missing ten years ago, therefore she had to have somebody in her life, right?

Kazu was oblivious to Aizawa's deep thoughts as she threw herself onto the queen-size bed. "Oh my God! This bed is ginormous! Do you know how long it's been since I slept on a real mattress?" she beamed, a bright smile still plastered on her face. "If you call this a guest room, I can only imagine what your room looks like!"

Aizawa hums and turns to leave the room, "I'm going to bed. If you need me for anything, which I hope you don't, my room is the first door on the left. I suggest you get some sleep too. Eri has school in the morning and you will need to help her get ready." he states tiredly.

Aizawa grabs the door handle and begins to walk out of the room when he is stopped in his tracks by a small voice, so quiet he almost missed it. "Thanks Mr. Zawa," Kazu whispers before quickly turning away from the hero and back to her room.

Aizawa looks back at the young woman in wonder, "Whatever...just don't make me regret this. And by the way, it's Mr. Aizawa." He sneers before promptly closing the door and walking to his room.

Kazu lets out a deep breath as she studies her new room. "This might be better than I thought." She mumbled before quickly stripping her clothes to take a much needed shower.

Upon walking into the bathroom, she noticed the cabinets were stocked with travel sized items. Aizawa must keep this bathroom supplied for family and friends.

Excitedly, she grabbed the supplies she needed and proceeded to get into the warm shower. How long has it been since she has taken a real shower with warm water?

After a good 30 minutes of bliss, Kazu jumped back into the large bed and fell into the best sleep she has had in years.
