An annoyed sigh rolled through Aizawa's nose as he watched the time on his watch. He stood outside Kazu's bedroom door. She was late, again. Was getting up on time such a hard thing to do? Aizawa raised his hand to knock on her door but halted his movements right before his fist made contact.

This was the second day in a row she has overslept. She said she wasn't sick, but her appearance yesterday said otherwise. He recalled the way she looked. Her emerald green eyes that normally shined bright with determination were dull and her face was pale. He might not have outright said it, but he was worried about her.

She obviously needed rest. He knew he could be an ass at times, but he wasn't completely heartless. He knew when people were at their limits and Kazu seemed to be at hers.

Slowly, he lowered his hand back down to his side and stepped away from her door. Deciding to give Kazu the morning off to rest and hopefully feel a bit better later. He could handle getting Eri breakfast and to class.

Aizawa walked into the kitchen to find Eri waiting patiently at the table. She was humming quietly to herself while playing with a few strains of her silver hair. She looked up to him as he approached her.

"It's just going to be us this morning, kid." he says while grabbing a package of ramen and quickly putting it together.

Aizawa turned around and faced Eri while he waited for their ramen to cool down, his back pressing against the counter. He crossed his arms over his chest while he watched the young girl. He was amazed at the change and progress Eri had made since being assigned under his care. Actually, he was shocked at the progress she'd made since Kazu arrived.

Anyone could see the bond the two girls had created and he'd be lying if he said the woman wasn't also growing on him as well. Kazu was strong willed, but also kind hearted. From what he learned the other night, she had to learn to be as tough as she is. It was an admirable quality of hers, but the reality of why she is that way, was a heavy burden.

The chime of his phone alarm brought Aizawa out of his thoughts. He quickly turned around to turn it off while grabbing their food and carrying it towards the table. He sat in front of Eri, gently sliding her bowl to her.

"So, what are your thoughts about Ms. Kazu?" Aizawa questions. He was curious to see how Eri would describe her and he wondered if her judgment of the nanny was similar to his own.

Eri smiled widely before she spoke, "I like her so much! She's my best friend. We have so much fun together Mr. Zawa. I hope she stays with us forever." she giggled excitedly.

"Forever, huh?" he whispered to himself. The thought of Kazu working for him indefinitely piqued his interest. With her help, he was able to spend more time with his students and he was able to rest easy knowing Eri was in good hands if her quirk were ever to go out of control again. The thought of Kazu living with him for a while to come caused his chest to tighten with weird emotions. He had to admit, he really liked the sound of that.

"Where is Ms. Kazu?" Eri cocked her head to the side while she slurped down her breakfast.

"She hasn't been feeling the best so I decided to give her the morning off to get better," he stated. He felt a little guilty for the way he had treated her yesterday knowing she was sick. Hopefully this will make up for that.

Aizawa looked up to see Eri's confused expression, her eyebrows knitted together in worry, "But I thought she was feeling better? She seemed really happy yesterday after she got that medicine from her friend."
