Gamila: "It's pretty late. How long until we reach, Hong Kong?"
Seiryu: "Well... Hm... About 45 minutes or less... We're getting close."
The Middle-Eastern contractor stops looking out the window and redirects her attention to Seiryu and she leans against the bridge's windows.
Gamila: "How'd you get a ship like this anyways?"
Seiryu: "It's an AQ ship. Al-Qatala uses ships like this to transfer weapons and supplies to other cells around the globe. I had to take out the AQ cells using this ship, and here we are, using it."
Gamila: "Huh..."
She looks out the window once again as Seiryu sits back in the chair. The 2 mercenaries continue to socialize on board as Gamila turns to look at Seiryu again and she questions him.
Gamila: "Why do you call yourself 'Seiryu'?"
Seiryu: "Hm? I don't want my real name to be revealed. It's a complicated thing... Alright, I don't want my family getting involved. If my real name is shown, sometimes the people I fight will go after my father and blackmail me."
Gamila: "Father? Where is he now, Seiryu?"
Seiryu: "Still in Taiwan. He owns a shop in the capital. Makes dumplings for a living. He's doing well, but...he's alone."
Gamila: "Why?"
The Taiwanese-Japanese merc sighs in his seat before responding to her question.
Seiryu: "My mother she um, she passed away when I was 7...So it's just me and my father."
Gamila: "Oh... I'm so sorry."
Seiryu: "It's fine..."
Gamila: "I hope you don't mind me asking another question but... Why'd you choose to be a 'mercy' than a chef like your father?"
Seiryu: "It's a long story. I worked at a warehouse and found some jobs. I left 2 jobs and... Well, this was a job that seemed easy. The payment is often well and I... I'm mostly doing this because all the money I make goes to my father. Some of the money goes to me."
Gamila: "You're financially supporting your father... That's sweet, Seiryu."
The mercenary chuckles, smiles and looks at Gamila getting up and moving close to her where he looks out the window with her.
Seiryu: "Yeah... What else am I supposed to do to show that I love my father? There's no other way I know to show love to a single parent other than financial aid. Single parents like my dad need money for supplies and to live. I use some of the money to survive of course. Pay bills, food, water, all that... Nowadays, most people would just use the money for themselves, not many people out there like showing their true colours. Here I am, telling you what I really am, not some killer who gets paid to scrub the dirt off this world because he could if he's offered money."
The woman's heart is touched by the story of Seiryu. She saw him as an experienced shooter, that's all just a shell. This is what's inside, a good man with the responsibility of making money for himself and his father.
Gamila: "So...you're a softie. Like a big teddy bear."
After hearing this, Seiryu's cheeks turn slightly pink and he looks to the side, blushing and he chuckles softly. He looks at her and he speaks.
Seiryu: "Teddy Bear, hm? Do you like me?"
Gamila: "Well, don't get me wrong, Seiryu but everyone including myself, likes you alive."
The mercenary laughs before sitting back down in the seat as he drives the cargo ship. He begins seeing lights in the distance and he gets up from his seat, squinting slightly as he sees the Hong Kong skyline.
