Destiny is new to Summercreek Middle School. Her dad came in as the new boys basketball coach for the school. She was nervous to be around new peers or meet anyone at all, but she loved basketball. Though, some of that would change when she met Isaa...
Second day at a new school. New team. Two new friends. Not too bad, new life.
*Beep Beep Beep*
I sat up excited to go to school today. Yesterday wasn't so bad, and I hope dad was right about living here for a while. I got up and did my hygiene. After I finished I walked to my closet.

I ran downstairs and made a bowl of cereal.
"Hey NyNy."
"Hey Dad." I said smiling.
"Almost ready to go?" I nodded taking a bite of my cereal.
7:20
I was in the gym shooting around while my dad got his activities planned for PE, Athletics, and for tryouts after school.
Swish.
The ball bounced and rolled to the door. Before I got to it, someone picked it up.
Isaak.
"What's up?" He said looking at me. I didn't say anything. "Okay..."
"Isaak! Thanks for coming in early." My dad said walking to us. "I see you've met my daughter."
"I guess?" He said looking at me.
Who's this diva? Cause why is he kind of sassy.
"Come on so we can talk about this team I'm getting myself into." He said walking into his office.
"Ball." He said passing it to me.
"Thanks." I said as he walked into the office. I heard laughing so I turned around. "When'd you get here?" I said holding the ball to my hip.
"I walked in right before Isaak. It was so funny! You stood there like this.." Kameron said mocking me.
"Whatever KP." I said rolling my eyes and dribbling back to the court. "Besides, why are you here so early?" I said dribbling between my legs.
"I'm always here early, and I'm a model student. Why do you think they chose me to give you a tour?" He said grabbing his backpack straps.
I was still dribbling between my legs as he spoke. "Oh so you think you're the bomb or sum?" I said shooting a shot.
Swish.
"Of course I do... Do you ever miss?" He said furrowing his eyebrows and grabbing my rebound.
"Of course I miss." I said laughing. "Nobody's perfect. I just shoot in places I know I'll make it. Especially if I'm just shooting around."
"That's smart." He took his backpack off and shot.
