My alarm went off and I rolled on my back and rubbed my eyes. I grabbed my phone and turned the alarm off and set the phone back down. I sat up and grabbed my glasses. When I picked my phone back up, I saw Isaak still asleep.
"It's still on FaceTime?" I said muting myself and smiling.
I decided not to end the FaceTime and to just get ready. I did all of my hygiene first to get it out of the way before changing (turning off my camera of course).
"Isaak...Isaak" I said twice and he still didn't wake up. "Isaak, I can hear your alarm going off." I said laughing.
"Who is talking right now?" He said with his eyes still closed.
"Now- bro open your eyes." I said face palming.
He rubbed his face and opened his eyes. "Des? You're still on there?"
"Yeah why not? Now actually, you gotta get up." I said packing my freshly washed practice clothes in my backpack.
"Why are you up so early?" he said sitting up and grabbing his phone.
"#1 it's 6:30, I've only been up 15 minutes longer than you. #2, my dad has to be at the school before 7:30."
"Right." He said holding his phone and walking into his closet.
"What time do you get to school?" I said sitting on my bathroom counter and propping my phone up.
"Around the same time." He said quickly glancing at the phone and back to his closet. He hit a double take and looked at the camera. "Are you sitting on the counter?" He asked smiling confusedly.
"Stop making fun of me. I have to get closer to the mirror to put in my contacts." I said.
"That's crazy, me personally-"
"nah nah nah nah none of that 'me personally' stuff. Also, not too much on me sitting on the counter." I said putting in my last contact.
He propped his phone up and pulled his shirt off. "Bro Isaak- I'm not looking at that!" I said putting my phone down.
"My bad, I'll move!" He said laughing.
"You can't be doing that." I said with a straight face.
"My baddd!" He said dying laughing. "Bro Isaak!" He said mocking me.
"Shut up!" I said as he finished changing. He walked back in the camera and did a spin. "Oh you think you cool huh?" I said hopping off my counter.
"Of course I do, cause I am." He said grabbing the phone and smirking.
"Whatever, arrogant ass."
He walked into his closet again. "What Jordan's should I wear? 1 or 2?" He said turning the camera around.
"OOOO okay I see you with the shoe game-" I said covering my mouth.
"Des, just choose." He said.
"Dang, my bad. 2 matches better for sure." I said grabbing my backpack and basketball before heading downstairs.
He grabbed the shoes and put them on. "Yeah these do fit the fit better."
"Fit the fit? GOODBYE!" I said laughing and setting the phone down.
"I know you ain't talkin' with as many grammar mistakes you have." He said playfully rolling his eyes.
"Man whatever." I said as I grabbed the cereal from the pantry.
