So far there wasn't much I could do thanks to Kelso making me fall off of the water tower. It's been a few weeks since that happened though and I should be getting my stuff off today.
Donna was still the only one who knew about Steven and I. Mom was taking me to get it off. "That wasn't as bad as I thought it was." I told her. "What was?" She asked. "Breaking a bone. I thought it would have lasted longer." I shrugged.
We eventually pulled into the driveway. "I can finally go into the basement." I said basically sprinting to the basement. "Hey guys." I said as I walked down the basement stairs. "Finally, Little Forman's come to join us again." Steven said.
"Yeah, no thanks to Kelso." I said as I glared at him. "Janie, I apologized, more than once." He said. "Whatever man." I said as I sat by Donna. "We should throw a party." Kelso said. "Where are we gonna throw a party?" Eric asked him.
"Well my parents are going out of town this weekend." Donna said. "I thought they were separating." I asked. "They are, they're just taking a trip to see if there's anything there that's salvageable." She said.
I felt bad for Donna, I've known her my whole life and growing up, her parents always seemed really happy. "That could work. All we need is beer, people and the rest just, happens man." Hyde said.
It was official, we were throwing a party Saturday. "Wait." I said. "What is it?" Fez asked. "What are we going to do about Kitty and Red?" I asked them. None of them knew.
"My parents could invite them on the trip." Donna suggested. "Y'know what, that's actually a good idea." Eric said. I nodded. "Mom and Dad haven't been away with each other in awhile." I added.
"Okay, I'll go ask my parents to invite them right now." Donna said as she got up from the couch. "Kelso, start telling people there's a party at Donna Pinciotti's this Saturday." I told him. He nodded and left, Fez following him.
"Us three need to get beer." I said. We all got up and walked up stairs to the kitchen. "Where are you three going?" Kitty asked as she pulled something out of the oven. I grabbed the keys to the Vista Cruiser.
"The Hub." Eric said. "Well, you're father and I won't be home this weekend." She said as she sat a pan of stuff on the kitchen table. "Why not?" I asked, even though I already knew why.
"Bob and Midge asked us to go on trip with them. I don't want to go, but they invited us." Red said. I smiled and chuckled. "Mom won't let you stay home, will she?" I asked.
He looked at me like he was defeated. "No." "Well, you crazy kids have fun." Steven said. "Aren't our kids nice?" I heard Kitty say as we walked out of the kitchen door. I laughed. "Aren't our kids nice?" I repeated in a voice.
"Whose driving." Steven asked. "I am, I haven't been able to drive in weeks." I said. "Why can't I drive?" Eric said. I rolled my eyes. "You drove the Vista Cruiser this whole week." I argued. "It's not my fault you fell off the water tower!" He said.
"I know, but still!" I said. "Alright enough. Jeez stop fighting, I'll drive." Steven said as he took the keys from me. "Whatever." Eric and I said. "I call shotgun!" I said as I ran to the passenger door. I got there before Eric did.
He was all pissy about it. Eventually, Steven pulled into the parking lot of the store. "So, how are we gunna do this?" Eric asked. "Eric, you stay in the car, Steven come with me. I have an idea." I didn't know if it was a good or bad idea, but there was only one way to find out.
Steven and I got out the car and walked inside. I dragged him to the beer and told him to grab some. He did and we started walking to the checkout. "Big party?" The checkout dude said.
"Yeah...a football party." I said. "My husband here is rooting for the packers." I added as Steven put the beer on the counter. He checked it out and we paid.
I was smiling when we walked out the door. "Is it even football season?" I asked Hyde. He shrugged. "I don't know, dude looked too high to care anyway man." He said as we put the beer in the car.
"No way you guys actually got it." Eric said. "Lies can get you far in life my friend." Steven said. "Yeah, until you get caught up in so many." I added.
We drove back home and sneakily hid the beer in the shower that was in the basement. Kelso, Fez, Jackie, and Donna eventually came over. "So when the parents leaving?" Fez questioned.
"Tomorrow morning, at like 9 or 8." Donna said. "That gives us plenty of time." I said. They all nodded. Eventually they all left. It was late when they did. "Alright, I'm going to bed." Eric said walking up the basement stairs.
When he was gone I walked over to Steven. "I'm gonna go to bed too, I'm tired." I told him. He nodded and got up. He kissed me. "Goodnight Janie." He said. I nodded and said the same thing to him, going up the basement stairs and to my room.
The next morning I woke up to Kitty pulling the blankets off me. "Mom." I groaned as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Wakey wakey, Janie." She told me. "Why." I asked. "I want to make you kids breakfast before your father and I leave on that trip with Bob and Midge." She explained. I rolled my eyes and got up.
She smiled and said she was going to wake up Steven and Eric. I sighed and walked down stairs and to the kitchen. "What the hell are you wearing?" Red asked me as I sat down and right as Steven, my mom and Eric walked through the kitchen door.
"Sorry, Mom didn't give me the chance to change." I had on a tank top and sleep shorts. I said as I watched as Steven sat down next to me. "I'm going to go put our stuff in the car." Red said as he went to get their bags.
I looked over at Steven and he was staring at me. I kicked him underneath the table. "So what are you kids doing while we're gone?" Kitty asked. "Probably just hang out in the basement or The Hub." Eric said. "Well you have fun!" She exclaimed.
After breakfast, Red and Kitty. Along with Bob and Midge were ready to leave. "If you three do anything stupid, my foot ends up in all your asses, got it?" Red said. We all nodded. Kitty hugged us goodbye and Bob and Midge said goodbye to Donna, and then they left.
I then turned towards my brother, my best friend, and my boyfriend. "Whose ready to throw the best party this summer?" I asked them. All of them erupted in hoots and hollers.
The rest of the gang arrived and we grabbed the beer and went to Donna's. Now we wait for tonight.
